World of Warcraft (For the ones missing out)

Go to your local gamestore and buy the damn game, everyone who consideres them a "gamer" HAS to try this game, My fav franchises are MGS, FF, I love a good fps, I´m into sports games, just to get the point across you don´t have to like the warcraft universe to be amazed. This game has everything you want in a game, a huge community(15k on each server) has a HUGE world map, if you were to try to walk acorss the whole thing it would take you forever, thousands of items, quests, it has the blizzard touch you know what I´m talking about. Some of the most fulfilling gaming experiences I´ve had have been with wow, getting a group of friends together trying to take down a boss is really very rewarding, each boss has their own tactic, everyone has to do their part, I don´t even know where to start. Juts like the review said, no matter who you are everyone should play this game. And no you don´t have to lose your life to play wow, what happens often is your sucked into the community and you get competitive, you want to stand out, so you play more to get better gear, it´s easily controlable. PLAY IT!

PS: As for the monthly fee, this is the first time I´ve ever played a game with a monthly fee what have I leanred? If a MMORPG comes out that doesn´t have a monthly fee the game is going to be crap.

Tried it got to 60 started raiding in mc (this was way back before the expansion) and it got boring, it is really time consuming. For the time i played WoW my grades went for the worst and i went out with friends like 1 time a month, literaly it kinda ruined my life for the time i played it. In the end it just turned out to be a big grind for the most powerfull items i say whoever hasn't played it should pass on it.

Played it. Had a lvl 60 druid and I did raiding too, BWL, MC and the other one in the desert. I seriously got bored of it, I tried to level another toon but it wasn't fun anymore. In another words, I just got tired of the game.

Oh and WoW doesn't have 15k per server. More like 3k max.

A Paladin is suppose to a be a Protector (Tank first, healer second) but WoW's twisted Logic made them the best healers up until recently, quite funny really.

Hopefully though, Age of Conan will be good, not looking forward to Warhammer (even though its by the DAoC guys) , and Tabula Rasa will be a different MMO experiance, and Huxley.

I liked Healers, thats why I re-rolled from my Priest to be the superior Paladin ... duh! But you have to admit a PALADIN IS NOT A FRIGGIN HEALER, by any damn logic!

Yeah but you have to admit they cant be damage outputters either. How would blizzard balance that? If they could do half the damage of a dps warr I would have rolled pali because that would have been broken. Going back to the days of d&d before mmo's (im a little older the average gs peeps i think). The pali was healer first damage second. Clerics were more damage first healers second. But there are not clerics in wow.

Paladins in Final Fantasy & Most MMORPG's are PURE TANKS with Holy abilities, and a very small ammount of mana threshhold.

WoW Perverted what a Paladin is, it mayswell been named a Cleric.

Don't worry, it happens to everyone who first gets the game, even happened to me if that means anything. Course, I can't stand level grining in MMORPG's so I quit after a month or so. Still, I can see why it's addicting, even casuals play it. That's gotta mean something considering Online-RPG's are often considered the most hardcore games.

Vanilla WoW was great, Burning Crusade did so many things that contradicted what thye wanted fixed in the first place. I hope Northrend Expansion fixes this, then I'l be back,.

and the Illadan fight is sooo lackluster its unbelievable.

I beg to differ, the first time I saw Ragnoros I though he was great, but actually fighitng him was boring, but I have heard good things about the Black Temple itself...

But I was expecting something much more epic than the current Illadan fights ... hence why I called it lack luster.

This happened to me once :( , Blizzard took 7 weeks to compensate me ... :cry:

Played it for 2 months when BC came out. Got a Dranei Shamman up to lvl 54 then people started saying I was playing too much so I dropped it. Ive been thinking about going back to it though, I at least want to ended at lvl 70.

It deffenetly was a fun game to play. Its best part is the people that you meet playing... and its worst part is... the people that you meet playing too. Nice "adult" people that play for fun and do it well without taking it too seriously: awsome. Crazy guild people that raid and raid all day and curse more often than they blink or plaing dumb people that just dont know how to play just makes you go mad.

I didnt take it that serously and people told me I was a machine leveling up. I had a ton of fun playing because I found a good group to play with.

I acknowledge WoW as a great game, but I refuse to pay a monthly fee to play any one game, let alone $15 (isn't that the price?).

noob wipes you on a lame boss like lucifron, you hate it

get epic loots, you love it

realize after doing endgame for the 80th time and the guild leaders friend got to go infront of you for loot on Cthun despite you having more DKP, this sucks.

If you've seen some of the unreported or underreported side-effects of certain popular drugs, you wouldn't say that. The sizable majority of drugs have benefits which are outweighed by possible side-effects.
