I can't even remember the name, but I think it was something like Bug Island! for the Wii. I rented it. Worst game I played.

Acutally no I change my answer.
Sonic 06. The game doesnt even want you to play it. Youll die if you even touch the controller when it doesn't want you too.

Ahhh thats it.
That game amazed me because I didn't think it was possible for a game past the year 1999 to have more fog than Turok lol

It's a toss up between Duke Nukem Forever, and the first Resistance.
They may be the two worst FPS games ever made.

Dude what?
That was far from a bad game let alone one of the worst.
The story was really good, gameplay was solid, MP was enjoyable and had up to 40 people which was a big deal at the time.
What parts of it didn't you enjoy?
The entirety of it.
The gunplay was bad, and only made worse by the gun variety, and design. Nothing about the guns offered anything for dynamic changes in gameplay, or allowed you to change up your approach to any encounter other than the auger, but that only ever really amounted to camping behind a wall, and shooting through it which wasn't in any way a fun way to play.
The enemy AI could also manage to notice you, and shoot you with pinpoint accuracy, from great distances. This made many encounters frustrating at times to deal with.
And then there were the unforgiving checkpoints which, along with the previous two points, again made for an awful time.
The level design was generic, and also terrible at times. Often times it was just knee-high walls which barely provided cover, and this only exacerbated the problem of both enemy AI sniping you with machine guns from 100 meters out, or better yet the auger, and the terrible checkpoints.
Overall the game screams generic, the game design is awful, the story is bad, and the main hero is laughable, but even more laughable is how when you play co-op the 2nd players' existence isn't even acknowledged.
As it stands there are FPS games out that are worlds better, but they reside on other platforms.
Gun veriaty was actually really good it had all sorts of guns and grenades .http://resistance.wikia.com/wiki/Resistance:_Fall_of_Man_Weapons
You mean like the Hailstorm which bounces bullets of walls, the auger which shoots through objects and walls, the Sapper which shoots living exploding cells, the Splitter which multiplies in mid air and follows your crosshair, or the Bullseye which lets you tag enemies and then magnetise your bullets to them, the arc charger etc, the grenade variaty was really good too, Shield grenades, spike grenades, air fuel grenade, normal grenades
I'll agree with you there
Wasn't even aproblem for me
The level designwas one of my favouritethings about the game
The story was awesomeand Nathan Hale was far from being laughable
Anyway I know it's your opinion I'm not saying your wrong, I just don't get how you can call it the worse game of the gen.

I feel like I should try it :P.People will always pick some triple A high scoring game over actual bad games.

Of course we do, not everyone here has played the likes of Sonic 06 and such.
Also, remember, quality is subjective. Personally I felt that DAO was an iredeemable pile of single player mmo trash and that Uncharted is the very embodiment of everything I hate about gaming.
Worst that I've played...
hmm tough choice. I don't usually buy games I know I won't like but there's always a few games that just slip by that. I guess either Dragon Age Origins/2, Lords of Shadow, Heavenly Sword, DW6, or RE6. These are off the top of my head. I'll have to think more about my most disliked game.
If we're going by all the games released then probably Sonic 06. Haven't played it but just hearing about the game hurts.
Xenoblade Final Fantasy XIII FInal Fantasy XIII-2 Tales of VesperiaSNIPER4321
You've never even played any of those games
any Kane & Lynch game.
That really aweful game Bethesda published with that overly swearing spec ops guy (completely forgot the name)
Personally though (and try to follow my logic here) It is Far Cry 2. I have NEVER seen a game with so many good core mechanics, and well thought out ideas, all implemented so horribly bad before, The game is seriously not enjoyable to play. From the horrible resspawning, horrible ai and mindnumbing plotholes to the obnoxious excuses for repeated sidequests (ad nausia)
The Mark was released in 2007 amazingly enough. So that. Absolutely that. Holy ****.
You may have played actual bad games before, but not even Gods & Generals stacks up to this one.
That game's bad and busted, but you don't necessarily actively hate it. I can honestly say that I hate The Mark.
It's not just that the level design is boxy garbage, the AI a pile of rocks, the graphics murky diarrhea and the game design an incredibly bland and dull attempt at aping CoD with a non-existant budget and talent. This game is literally so bad it makes you feel physically ill. You know how aiming works in first person shooters? The people who made this game don't. Your view bobs unnaturally left and right as you move, making the simple act of hitting a target a nigh impossible chore. And it's this, combined with the narrow FOV, warped perspective and stretched aspect ratio that combines into a perfect storm of vomit-inducing god awfulness.
It's more successful at being a torture instrument than a game.
God damn this game sucks.
And there he is, the mark himself.
Oh hi mark!
Diablo 3
It may not be the worst but it is by the far the most disappointing, which is worse than being the worst

Yeah, its calling having an opinion.
It's called trolling.Does playing it make you sick? Can you aim the vehicle where you want it to go? Is it not fundamentally broken?Street Cleaning Simulator is still the unrivaled king, anyone saying differently is delusional or a Street Cleaning Simulator fanboy. Or both.

Similarly, Hour of Victory is one of those rare b-games. It's entertaining to mock and laugh at how poorly made it is. It's like a theme park ride of daftness. Granted it does have sections where dumb bugs don't happen for a long while. But it does have that appeal. It's a classic in my mind.Hour of Victory... I only played the demo and it was absolute trash. It got a 2.0 here.
