I can't seem to find one good thing about this game. also does the 360 version run at 10fps?Zero5000XHuge game world with great graphics, guilds, loads of side quests, places to explore, dungeons etc. And I don't know about the 360 version but the PS3 framerate is fine.

I don't own a 360, but my friend does, and he actually still plays it every once in awhile, and there is never any slowdowns (Unless he duplicates the items), but I find it to be very good, and the graphics are still great looking ti'll this date.

it does suffer from the shallow, reapeatitive, generic RPG, boring story syndrom, that all new RPG's have lately, so we have to put up with that i guess, that is until the new 2D XBLA RPG arrives
I love that game, although I play on the much superior PC version with an additional 4GB of mods to make the game much more enjoyable.PS2_ROCKSTrrue, it's much better with mods espescially the graphics mods, i've got alot of the textures up to 4096*4096 and i'm running a bunch of mechanics tweeks that make it much better
worst game this gen??? what have you been smoking...even if you don't appreciate the RPG elements and the inventory management(i sure don't)....you've got to appreciate the sheer scale and graphics of the game.. This is one of the best games this generation for sure...
Also, the frame rate issues you mentioned are on the PS3 version....the 360 frame rate is very smooth....although there is a tradeoff....this is one of the few games where the ps3 version looks better and its quite noticable:
1) PS3 has anisotropic filtering - this is the biggest difference...textures in the distance keep their detail...makes the game look way better
2) Textures in general are enhance - makes a decent difference in making the game look better
3) The loads between sections are like 1-3 seconds vs 360 where its more like 4 - 8 seconds....when you are walking around and it pauses it gets kind of annoying
In general just walking around outside and taking in a large view you can already see the ps3 frame rate drop under 20...however one specific part in the game, the seige of kvatch where you get through the gates and are approaching the castle and you have the large fight with like 6-8 guards with you and 10 or so of the creatures...the frame rate is literally a slideshow....same thing happens on PC there unless you turn down teh graphics or have an insane system that runs the game at like 60+fps generally.
Yeah don't believe the reviews, this game is extremely boring! I was also dissapointed.fenwickhotmailI agree its extremely boring as well, but to say its the worst game this gen just because we thought it was boring is just flat out stupid & thats exactly what this guy looks like when he makes such a statement. Just because I don't like a game doesn't make it a bad game.

The worst thing about it is the lack of dialog, zero dialog is really dissapointing, i will just buy 10 copies of the first RPG that has some real dialog myself :), it is so rare
Definitely not the worst game this gen...not by far, but it's definitely one of the most bug-laden games I've ever played. I've played both the regular edition on the 360 & the GOTY edition on the PS3. Both versions are hopelessly plagued with bugs. The framerate for the 360 version, while far from choppy, does tend to lag at times, and the game constantly froze up on my 360. The PS3 GOTY edition features the infamous and unforgivable "vampire bug", where once a player gets infected with "Porphyric Hemophilia" (vampirism), the player cannot complete the healing process and must remain a vampire (unless they rent the non-GOTY edition and load their saved game with it, like I had to do).
Worst of all, Bethesda refuses to even acknowledge that this bug exists, let alone patch it. It's as if they got our money, so now they couldn't give two sheets about providing ANY support for their flawed product. That's not how to do business, and I'll never purchase another one of their games again.
How about this instead: Bethesda is the most arrogant, thoroughly incompetent, and consequently the worst game developer by far this gen.
I can't seem to find one good thing about this game. also does the 360 version run at 10fps?Zero5000XCan't agree with you -- it's probably one of the greatest games I've played, and I've been gaming since 91.
You can do almost anything you want -- your freedom is so high, I don't see how it's remotely possible to become bored with the game. I haven't even beaten the main missions as I've mainly been playing around.

I will buy 10 copies of the next RPG which has a good story, unlike this game!Oblivion was one of the best Western RPGs this gen. Some morrowind fans that are too ignorant to remember cliffracers go to extremes to express their disappointment, but to hate oblivion would mean to hate the genre. Blue-SkyLOL no, if anything Oblivion at best is an action adventure game, I fail to see the RPG. And I never played Morrowind.
I don't think so. Sure, the game had its problems. The quest objectives had absolutely no creativity, the game world was as bland and repetetive as you can possibly make it, the dungeons are all copy-pasted, the level-scaling is screwed up horribly, the main-storyline is terrible, you can be all powerful thief/mage/warrior all at the same time...
Okay, it has a TON of problems, but it's not Hour of Victory.
So, yeah.
Morrowind is 10 times the game that Oblivion could ever hope to be :lol:the frame rate can be bad at times, but worst game this gen?
you must have play morrowind or something

[QUOTE="GTR_FX"]Morrowind is 10 times the game that Oblivion could ever hope to be  True. Of course, Morrowind is one of the best WRPGs ever. Oblivion fails to be a good sequel, but it's by no means a bad game.the frame rate can be bad at times, but worst game this gen?
