Worst Main Character

Or no? Half Life doesn't make me feel like he has my personality. You don't make decisions and you do exactly what you're told to do. He's just a mute guy like the main character from GTA3 and I hated him too.

He's alright. The games are still awesome though maybe because he doesn't distract from the plot and hopeless situation you are in???

Well I definitely agree that the games are good, but i think it's because of the other interesting characters and the weird **** that goes on.

you dont understand the point at all...he was designed to have no personality at all....valve wanted him to be completly unseen and blank, so that Players could use their imagination for what he was like...and avoid the akwards moments when your main character starts talking from first person and it just sounds odd.

I honestly don't mind that at all. Adds more depth to the story. I loved Nomad and Psycho although I wish the cutscenes as psycho were in first person also.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but the main character from Killzone 2. Now I really liked KZ2, but Sev wasn't memorable in anyway. Cool name, but the character model was ugly, just I didn't care about him at all, and Rico made it even worse.

I think what makes a good character is his/her motivation. If you can feel that then that will drive you through the game and give it direction so to speak.

He's as far away from the "space marine" mentality as it's possible to get, which makes him more unique. He is the everyman in the sense that physically he is not special in any way. Mentally, obviously the MIT thing makes him better.

There are too many standards to achieve to even attempt to narrow down who is really the worst.

Gordon Freeman, he's exactly the same as every other FPS character ever. Not to mention that his games suck.
