Worst or most disappointing game you played this gen.

The most disappointing for me was by far Left For Dead. This game had only 4 levels. I beat it in an hour. What a rip off. I can't believe they got away with doing that. And by a great company like valve no less. I never expected them to pull a fast one like that. I was so stoked to hear about this game. I couldn't wait to blow away some Zombies.

Rinsen is by far the worst game I have played this gen. This game is horrible. I don't think I have ever seen controls this bad. It reminds me of a crappy PC game from like 92. The graphics aren't great, but they aren't bad. The combat in this game is so basic and retarded it isn't even funny. The NES did a better job than this monstrocity. I don't know how those developers can sleep at night after putting out a game like this. And it actually got a sequel? I wanted to try it cause it is a fantasy RPG, the kind of game I like.

first off, if you're playing Left 4 Dead without friends you're doing it wrong.

2nd, if you're playing Left 4 Dead on Xbox 360 then you're not even playing Left 4 Dead.

3rd, Mass Effect 3.

RDR.. played about an hour of it, turned the system off after that and never touched the game ever again, worst game in the history of bad games.

Toss up between:

Far Cry 2 (Never have I seen a game with that many good mechanics, put together so poorly)

and

GTA 4 Liekly the most boring game Ive ever playied, aswell as jarringly inconsistant, in story, it is odd that they made a character that are so much against violence, and so reluctent to sink into crime again, but when the player gets control, there is not option to follow the Character personality.

Note these be disapointing games, a "worst" game I do not have, given it have to be really bad to be claimed a worst.

Resident Evil 6 maybe.

FFXIII - corridors, boring, annoying, braindead battle system, pointless upgrades, pointless summons, no sidequets, lvl caps

The first hour is nothing but tutorials and cutscenes. After that the game opens up and the story missions get alot better.

Wow, that isn't giving the game a fair chance at all. Nobody should cast complete judgement of a game after playing such a miniscule portion of it. You pretty much completely discredited your own opinion of RDR

Worst game? Damn what to pick, I don't normally say a game is bad, as I can usually find something I like it in. RAGE is nothing like it should have been and was a massive disappointment but I think it has solid AI and shooting.

F.3.A.R is pretty bad and has no redeeming factors for me

Also lol at all the people saying ME3, it's not a bad game, not by a long shot. It had a bad ending but everything else in it is pretty solid

RAGE & Battlefield 3 really let me down. I was blindly, and stupidly swallowed into the hype. RAGE because it was id's first new IP since Quake, and B3 because it was hyped the be the Messiah, the destruction of CoD's reign and Kotick's demonic tyranny. Both failed hard, albeit good games. Battlefield 3 doesn't even touch BattleField 2's impact.

Having better gameplay doesn't save it from being the most dissapointing game I've played this gen. You can make a game as awesome as you want, but if it collapses in the final act, which Mass Effect 3 most certainly did, I'm not going to ignore and only judge it for it's good parts.

No real final boss, bull crap convoluted ending, that dumbass Space Ninja.

Little Big Planet. It was pretty much the main reason I wanted a PS3 to begin with, but there aren't many platformers I can say that have worse gameplay than that outside of some terrible games I played in the NES/SNES eras, but those games are from 18+ years ago...

I thought Left 4 Dead was a big disappointment too, very reptitive and I felt it only got such high scores because it had Valve slapped on the title. The worst though would be either Too Human (terrible controls), Final Fantasy 13, and Far Cry 2. I also thought Bad Company 2 and Halo 3 were major disappointments as well.

It's pretty painful reading these posts. RDR the worst game a person has played? Really?. Naruto Dragon Blade Chronicles is probably the 1st on my list.
