Yes, but why wouldn't there be exclusives? Chances are, without exclusives, some of your favorite games might not exist.

And since it's hypothetical, those "favorite games" you speak of, would hypothetically be multi-plat instead.

I say no. At this point, I don't care if this game supports cross-play, if all exclusive games go to PC, I see no reasons to pick up any consoles at all. (Well, maybe Nintendo since they don't like porting games to PC)

But those "favorite games" required money from a console maker to be made. If Bayonetta 2 weren't exclusive and funded by Nintendo, it wouldn't have existed. Capcom probably wouldn't have made Street Fighter V. They got money from Sony for marketing and they still didn't really try. Console makers fund games with name recognition and make them exclusive to their brand to sell consoles. If all the consoles had the same games, that wouldn't be a thing. Well there would also only be one console...

Nope. I dream for a day when its all on pc. Nintendo makes games for pc. One universal platform for all gaming companies and the cutomer base will be huge from these gaming companies since everyone has the same device. But thatll neve happen lol

Judging from this poll, 50% would no longer be buying consoles anymore. (probably more, as SW is pretty console user heavy) Bringing on the death of consoles as a gaming platform, leaving PC as the only man standing.

Now all of a sudden, all development is happening for the PC exclusively. No more shitty console ports, everything is optimized from the ground up for PC. Companies like Nintendo can release their amazing games, but with graphics that don't look like they're 10 years behind. (if they choose to)

You know what happens with that level of optimization? Every game released runs on a potato like MGSV or DOOM. (well maybe not EVERY game, but you get my drift.)

Hell to the yeah, especially if it eliminated the need of another system. Exclusive creates game segregation. Game segregation cost gamers more money. Game segregation makes my home theater more cluttered. Game segregation generates redundant hardware. Exclusives NEED to die. Sooner better than later.

It is FACTUALLY easier to optimize a game for consoles than PCs. To imply otherwise is unwise.

You shouldn't take this poll here to be an indication to anything. This is System Wars and most of the time opinions here are part of a minority. Best selling games on consoles are usually multiplat games.

Most definitely. I'm never dealing with a goofy mouse and keyboard, blue screen of death, shitty drivers and os updates, buggy ports, or ini editing again. No way. Give me a hassle-free console every single time.

I have a PC that is powerful enough to play pretty much any game already, but unless it's a VR game or a strategy game, I still choose to buy all multiplats on my consoles. I just really don't like playing traditional games on PC.

No. I have a gaming PC for the multiplats. The only reason I keep my xbox one and PS4 around, is for exclusives. And with most xbox games now coming out on PC as well, it has turned into a living room Netflix machine.

Consoles are shit. I only buy them because the greedy fucks at Sony and Nintendo refuse to release their games on PC. I am not totally against consoles as they are simple and cheap. They are good for a lot of people. However, they can not deliver the quality of PC. Being forced to play games on shit hardware is not cool. Give us the option like MS is doing.
