Wow, Diablo 3 is really dumbed down

I love how the blizzard defense force is so openly forcing their opinion on everyone, really brilliant lads.

The open generalaziations are awesome also, because it's such a great way to sway someone to your way of thinking by calling them a hipster.

Fact is, the color palette is brighter, the game was dumbed down in some respect. I still don't see why we need to have one single stats lineup. They could have made it an option for your stats to be automatically assigned other games have done it.

We have to agree to disagree on this, nothing is changing until most of us sit down and play the full game. But currently there are quite a few of us who dislike the new direction, lulling out our voices with your blizzard chanting won't change that.

Brighter? i think it feels very dark...i still not seen any place in D3 that is more bright than Act2 desert in Diablo 2....

I understand what a beta is, thanks. What I don't understand is how raising the difficulty of that beta in any way affects what a beta is intended to do in the first place. Care to explain? I see everyone excusing the difficulty because ,"oh it's a BETA". So what? Now if someone says it's the EARLY part of the game which is why it's so easy, then I'll accept that. But don't just use the beta as an excuse, because it's a poor and nonsensical one at best.

God I hope they figure out a way to better optimize the performance, this is ridiculous. Even when I turn settings down to 16x10 my CPU (quad core @ 3.8Gz) maxes out and I experience slow down when a handful of monsters are on the screen. I figured it was just because I was playing at such a high resolution 25x16 that I was having problems but even turning it down to a consolized 16x10 gives me problems. Speaking of which, I can't imagine this game playing smoothly on an old 360 or PS3. Maybe at something beneath 720 like Halo 3.

For how simple this game is I'm frustrated by the big performance dips during combat. I play Skyrim at 25x16 without so much as a stutter but D3 won't run smoothly? Something is very, very wrong here...

^Update your crap maybe? I never saw above 70% gpu usage and never dipped below 60fps. And I only have an i7 920 and a 5850 both at stock clocks.

Or maybe your drivers are forcing something that Diablo doesn't agree with?

I understand what a beta is, thanks. What I don't understand is how raising the difficulty of that beta in any way affects what a beta is intended to do in the first place. Care to explain? But you keep claiming it's because it's a beta, which is garbage and you know it. At least be honest and say it's because it's a very early portion of the game, I'll accept that. I see what you're saying and agree, but your reasoning as to why it's so easy is flawed.

Until you can provide me with a reason as to how difficulty will test servers. I'm waiting. My issue is not how easy it was/is. It's that many keep saying it's easy BECAUSE it's a beta. Which is nonsense because difficulty holds no bearing on what the beta is doing.
