Wow Heavy Rain! (No 56K)

ok ppl here is a few shots and the link for more.

this has to be the most graphically stunning game for consoles at the moment without a doubt. the reaslism is unmatched.

what i find very funny is that people have to resort to using crysis character models to try put this game down and that to me seems like a real compliment towards this game because there is NO other game which can match this visually on CONSOLES...yes CONSOLES!

thats fine. i am also gagging for some gameplay but like i said the shots are from a demo of the game which was shown at e3. so maybe real-time? i mean the game has been touted for its amazing graphics so its likely these are real-time

yeah i agree.... shots dont impress me, i want to see actual gameplay footage first... still though Heavy Rain is one game am keeping an eye on... hope more info comes out later this month..

I think the game looks good but to be honest, it looks barely more advanced than the faces in most games this gen, and when you consider there won't be much going on in the game, and if it's anything like Indigo Prophecy a lot of it will be pre-rendered and set pieces, then yeah, it's not that amazing really...

It's an adventure game - it's not like there's going to be any process-intensive gameplay, or AI or whatever.

I think that it could end up looking like that in-game.

wow i actually forgot about fight night. although it looks amazing its a boxing game....only fighters need to be rendered high quality.

heavy rain is supposed to be a action/adveture game type of thing i think lol so if it does indeed look like that in-game you cant deny it is very very good indeed. like i said leipzig will reveal all!

Did their last game have CGI in it? Maybe in the intro, I don't remember, but every other cutscene was in-game. I doubt that this is CGI.

In any case, adventure games always have the potential to be better looking games than those in any other genre, simply because they're far more static/lifeless than other games.

thats the thing if you look at the close up of the woman you can clearly see some jaggies etc and the model looks nowhere as high quality as you would expect from a cgi cutscene which further leads me to believe its real-time

i swear to god the textures on this games faces arent even close or comparable to crysis i seen all the screens man.

Wow some tears on the faces makes it impressive? LOL the skin is much more detailed and realistic on crysis much higher resolution textures you cant see pits or pores or imperfections in the persons face man...this game looks like some stupid anime game...the skin texture looks too smooth looks fake as hell in comparison to crysis.

Go look in the mirror you can see pores in ur skin and imperfections none of this is viewable in heavy rain...it's just a smooth skin looking texture no detail to it at all man.
