If you dont own a real gun then you have zero creditability in this thread. guns i own 16 gauge double barrel 12 gauge single barrel 22 rugar 10-22 22 cal rifle rossey 22 cal revolver m1 carbine russian sks 30 cal mac-90 aka legal version of ak-47 GIVEN TO ME BY MY DAD SHOT THEM AS A KID GROWING UP. SORRY PEOPLE PLAYING VIDEO GAMES DOESNT MAKE YOU A MASTER AT GUNS LOL.gamewatereddownPlease tell us why COD is so realistic. Break down the mechanics of the maneuverability, recoil, speed, and weight all based on realistic combat procedures and simulation. Tell me why is it that when I stab someone with a knife, it tracks and stabs the target like a magnet.
wait now your doing a 180...saying you hate realism? and now saying those games piss you off....then claim COD4 is more realistic? wtf? what you just said backs up my claims..of those games being more played because of the fun factors...(can't do in real life) so K2 is hard for players of those games at the beginning..that doesn't mean it ins't realistic.
Seriously i shot down some tree's atleast 6 inches round maybe even bigger , took about 4-6 rounds of birdshot pull trigger sametime on the 16 gauge double barrel. didnt try buck or slug probley been better. shot me 50 caliber shooting down a tree oh yea, they suck LOL.gamewatereddown
You shot down a tree with a shotgun? Wow you must be strong!not
A gun has weight, believe it.

show me 50 caliber shooting down a tree oh wait, the bullet doesnt have enough lead to do any damage. even though 50 caliber shoots faster feet per second the bullet will do less damage because there's not as much lead, the 5- cals round just desintergrate, while the shotgun slug will flatten out like a pancake on impact putting a big hole in you lol.Whoever you are, I suggest you stop trying to lecture people on military procedure, because it's clear that you're an amateur.
A great deal of Killzone 2's qualities are realistic even if there are point of suspension and disbelief for the sake of its videogame status. You guys need to get over that.
Pariah-
LOL yes you were trained **WERE** in the reserve *you likely saw no action*so yeah no i don't believe you whatso ever.
your penalized in a war, yep you jump and shoot and get a shot off *hit a guy* your penalized in a war.
yes falling back and running away are the same thing, the only difference is that when you run away your running away from the battle, the other your running away to a different position, next your gonna tell me retreating isn't running away *laughs*
So you don't take cover to your back or side you just look at the wall? in every instance? even when your going to look around a corner? http://www.blackfive.net/photos/uncategorized/rivergate2pi100605a2.jpg back side to the wall

I guess all 6 of those soldiers got penalized during **combat**
the point of basic training is to bring a person up to physical fitness so they can....
1.cope with combat
2.use the required equipment
3.teach you
obviously never had been in combat or even training.
P.S: I've never been through training but nearly every thing i've said is just common sense, Killzone 2 isn't realistic nothing about it is realistic.

And that you like fast paced games? your all OVER THE PLACE, man. You went against your original statements. Now your saying guns have no weight to them.. WOW.[QUOTE="PSdual_wielder"][QUOTE="gamewatereddown"]Seriously i shot down some tree's atleast 6 inches round maybe even bigger , took about 4-6 rounds of birdshot pull trigger sametime on the 16 gauge double barrel. didnt try buck or slug probley been better. shot me 50 caliber shooting down a tree oh yea, they suck LOL.gamewatereddown

oh wow so you just ment the hit detection and enemy reactons to bullets hitting them?
I guess me pulling out my pistol and poping guy in the head and his helmet just flies off without any thing else happening is real realistic.
Or going up to a guy and knifing his legs and he dies instantly, Or guys surviving rocket launcher shots.
*shakes head* KZ2 is a mediocre shooter and its realistic in no way.
The TC is really referring to the interpreted realism concerning animations and physics. I think there are many aspects of KZ2 that are realistic to a degree. And overall the game can easily be considered more realistic than a lot of shooters out there.oh wow so you just ment the hit detection and enemy reactons to bullets hitting them?

Of course reality is suspended in cases to create a fun and balanced game. No game is a true simulation of real-life.
--As for KZ2 being a "mediocre shooter". Well that's just like, your opinion man.

Thats alot of peoples opinions, but oddly enough you try to make out that i didn't touch at all the point that killzone 2 is realistic in physics and the reactions of enemies upon being shot.
Im pretty sure and quote me on this that if i pull out a pistol in real life shoot a guy wearing a balistics helmet at close range its gonna snap his head back like a sling shot yet this doesn't happen in killzone 2.
your addition of "mediocre shooter" tells me your intentions are solely to bash and fuel a fanboyism. Is this correct? it's realistic in no way? HAHA....just because you hate the game, doesn't mean its unrealistic.oh wow so you just ment the hit detection and enemy reactons to bullets hitting them?

LOL yes you were trained **WERE** in the reserve *you likely saw no action*so yes i don't think we'll be following your advice or believeing you were any such thing, but lets see
I didn't say during war. But it is possible if a superior has a grudge against you.
In basic, if you are caught jumping and shooting, you'll get flagged.
yes falling back and running away are the same thing, the only difference is that when you run away your running away from the battle, the other your running away to a different position, next your gonna tell me retreating isn't running away *laughs*WilliamRLBaker
Running away means focusing on retreating and not shooting. You just sprint as fast you can in the other direction. Falling back entails that you keep firing as you retreat with your squad.

First of all, I didn't say "in every instance." You padded your reply with that in and effort to put words in my mouth.
Secondly, you're also the one who said "penalized **during combat**" Stop trying to put words in my mouth.
Finally, usually when you're in that position, you're maintaining cover without engaging the enemy. So it's an immaterial example of getting into cover and firing subsequently.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Basic is, more often than not, different for infantrymen than for soldiers of a different MOS.
Trying going to Fort Knox and Jackson and see how they train. There's going to be a dramatic difference since Knox is central for Ranger training whereas since Jackson is co-ed, the training isn't as extensive.
[QUOTE="gamewatereddown"] because dude i know more about fps or guns you should listen to what i gotta say.Pariah-
