WTF is this "K2 is unrealistic" Talk?

Of course reality is suspended in cases to create a fun and balanced game. No game is a true simulation of real-life.

Thats alot of peoples opinions, but oddly enough you try to make out that i didn't touch at all the point that killzone 2 is realistic in physics and the reactions of enemies upon being shot.
Im pretty sure and quote me on this that if i pull out a pistol in real life shoot a guy wearing a balistics helmet at close range its gonna snap his head back like a sling shot yet this doesn't happen in killzone 2.

I said there are aspects of the game that can easily be considered realistic. Not everything. I haven't read every post of yours in this thread, but I didn't see any acknowledgement of the sort in the post I quoted.

As for my supposed implications. Please get rid of them. I'm providing my take and facts on the topic in raw form. No passive aggressiveness or backhanded bull. On the other hand, throwing in "mediocre shooter" doesn't add to your argument. Though I respect that opinion.

tell me why a kid who never shot a gun growing up or had someone teach him what is right or wrong , the dumbass finally got a gun and attempted copy grand theft auto. LOL i on the otherhand grew up playing some violent ass games way more than grand theft auto and i had guns readily avalible to me yet i still havent killed anyone lol.gamewatereddown

The game ISN'T realistic............ but that's a good thing. Games that go for too much realism FAIL..... I play games because they are fun and a great way to escape our somewhat boring reality.

1 big reason I don't like Crysis is because the game just feels hollow, weak story, weak characters, poorly designed aliens & the DEVS spent too much time trying to make the game realistic rather than making the game interesting & fun.

When I play a game, I want to be as far away from reality as I can; games that give too much realism clouds the fun factor which is just pathetic.

Just because you haters don't prefer realistic shooters, doesn't mean it isn't realistic. (thats gotta be the worst attempt at bashing)

1. The game has WEIGHT, guns sway and movement is heavier...NOT slow and broken, GG were going for realism..and they achieved this.

2. Games like HALO, CS, HL, L4D are NOT realistic. they are floaty unrealistic shooters mainly done for the fun factor. More people prefer games like those, because it gives you more control and instant reaction to your finger movements ,etc.THAT I CAN UNDERSTAND.

3. only reason people complain about controls is because its the first shooter to play with such realism and the fact people are used to quick and fast paced shooters.

4. If you have ever handled a gun/rifle (not that you should) Recoil is STRONG, the gun is slow and when you run or move with it, there is resistance and overall weight. K2 iS the only shooter i know that does it right.

(waits for haters to post smileys with there replies to make up for cheap comebacks and excuses)
