PS3 has had 2 AA or better exclusives(Both AAA)[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"][QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"]There is now no way for the 360 to "win" 2008, the PS3's library has beaten it for this year. It can only happen if both Gears 2 and Banjo scroe AAAAE. Floppy_Jim
360 has had 4 AA exclusives.
IF Gears 2 and Banjo hit AAA(which gears could do, banjo is a longshot) then how can't the 360 "win" THe PS3 library isn't exactly some kind of unbeatable beast.
Rigth, and the PS3 has had 2 AAAE+'s and the 360 had none. Last year, the general consensus is that the 360 won because it had 2 AAAE's and nearly everything on the PS3 was flopping. Fast forward to 2008, 2 of the PS3's biggest games are AAAE or above and nearly every big 360 game this year has flopped. Even if Gears 2 and Banjo get AAA, the PS3 still has Resistance 2, Valkyria Chronicles, Motorstorm 2 and SOCOM. The 360 won last year and the PS3 seems to be winning this year. That's fair if you ask me.
Valkyria Chronicles? Are you serious? SEGA hasn't come out with any good games in a long while, let alone a great one. Let's also not forget that in most cases with multiplats, the "lead" system is the 360. As you have mentioned in another thread, this means that a great AA? game such as Fallout 3 kind of stinks on a PS3. So the multiplats from here on out, on the lead 360 platform, will likely have a superior edge to the PS3 version...which has to go through a series of hocus pocus & voodoo magic before the game can be played on that console. In the end, the current batch of awesome multiplats appear to be in better standing on the 360 than the PS3. The cows get to play it, but it's kind of like, what's the word for it? Lem leavings?
And let's not also forget about the biggest upset for this year: the announcement of Final Fantasy for the Xbox 360. :-) I wonder if it's the lead platform for FF as well?
