XBL Is Garbage; One Microtransaction after the Other

I love when people says "OBLIVION CAME OUT 1 YEAR LATER!!! AND NO EXPANSION FOR MONTHS!!!" Ok, 360 launched November and got oblivion in March, PS3 launched in November and got Oblivion in March...hmmm what is so hard to understand about this? The expansion took 1 year to come out for the 360, the PS3 version just came out so why would they release the expansion now?

Also for RB6 and GRAW2, it is not the PS3's fault that the developers decided to not start developing the game for both systems at the same time...RB6 should have made it to the PS3 launch, but they favored the 360 more and now people blame the PS3 for it...

Nothing is wrong with those things coming in a little late or delayed as long as they come out eventually which is the poing trying to be made here. These maps will be free down the line just like R6V is delayed but will come out none the less so what's the big deal? Dont be a hyprocite and say waiting for Gears maps to be free is bad but waiting for games on the PS3 to come out is ok.

What did I spend $200 on? It's called "Four years of Xbox Live". I've been a member since November 2002. Sure, I've bought XBL games, and a few expansion items, but I wasn't even counting those.

I know...it makes me so very angry that I XBL is teaming with content! How dare they make available content to extend the life of awesome games. Damn you MS Damn YOU!!!

If Sony had the infrastructure that was worth charging for...guess what? They would. Free is sometimes a nice way of hiding behind bad.

Well my main point was that Oblivion came out in March for both systems, and waiting for PS3 games is not ok beucase RB6 should have been out Nov 17...but if a developer themselves want to give free content, then why stop them, even if it is gonna be a couple of months until it is free, why stop everyone from enjoying it?

Some games like NBA 2k7 and FNR3 are fine, VT3 launched on both and it was fine, RB6 should have been there on nov 17 if it really was being worked on at the same time...now it has been delayed 3 times.

Because Epic was going to. Because PC gamers have been getting maps for free. Because mod makers can spend months or years making entirely new games for free.

I'm done here, you can keep saying Epic shouldn't release their own maps free when they were going to.

 But still, Epic the company wanted to make their content free because they believe it makes there existing customer happy and playing their games  while offering new features for new customers to buy the game. I don't think it is right that Microsoft is forcing them to charge for this simply because they want to make every single penny they can out of Gears. Sometimes the most logical solutions are not the best and i think this is the case here but at least we will eventually get the maps free so thats a compromise. In general though i only think they should charge for proper expansions in the future and not something small like this where it is only a bunch of maps on multiplayer because now the multiplayer will be fragmented between the ones who have bought the maps and the ones who havent.

I understand that companies go after cash and everything and that they make most of their money off of this kinda stuff along with peripherals and software......but c'mon.  I mean I can't even changed my Gamertag w/o paying to do so.  Now THAT pisses me off.

That is why X-box will be 2nd or 3rd this gen. Many gamers are not dumb why spend money on content that was suppose to be free. UT2007 an Epic game will have downloadable content how are you going to feel when PC and PS3 will get it for free. You better hope its free.

I don't play ranked only player matches so it does. I've seen it done before with GRAW1, heck in that game for a while it became a LOT more difficult to find matches to play in, which pissed me off completely.  

XBL Fanboys just don't get it. Epic and other developers want to give away their content for free, they made it, they spent time on it and they want it to be free.
