Xbox 360 loses another exclusive- Tales of Vesperia

Still it is one of very few JRPGs that will be on the PS3,PS3 fans should be dying to play a good JRPG by now. They have had VC, ES, and D3... that is pretty much it.

Overall, I just think this gen is sucking for JRPG's in general, which is a shame, as it's my favourite genre. I just hate hearing things about how the 360 is JRPG king, since it suggests that JRPG fans are happy with the current state of the genre, which in all honesty, I don't think anyone should be.

It's just a negative precedent to set, and I feel we should be trying to get better quality all around. No matter what console the games are on

That doesn't mean people havn't enjoyed them. Typical cow pretend certain games don't exist like pc\360 games , now trying to act like certain jrpgs don't exist :roll: give it a break when ps3 has more then it will be king deal with it.

It's real, I'm glad others will get to play ToV. Here's to hoping Valkyria Chronicles goes multi-plat too. It seems PC and Wii are the only systems to really get exclusives any more.

I'm sorry but I actually thought all 3 were good, Last Remant had an excellent story and soundtrack, only downfall in Infinite Undiscovery besides the name was lack of depth, and Blue Dragon wasn't "complete crap" it just didn't have anything to seperate it from the mold.

You can't tell me what is good and not good because it is all relative.

You may enjoy them, but insisting that PS3 owners haven't got a good JRPG to play, when they have more critically lauded exclusive ones, is silly.

This will go nowhere though, so I'll agree to disagree.

Edit - Also; In my opinion, anything below a 7, is almost definitely not worth spending £40[$60] on. Quality is vital in games, and if they really can not compete with todays standards, then they simply don't deserve to be bought.

Well we should wait before calling it a lost exclusive, because of the date, and also ToS was on the Gamecube but it had a PS2 release, which was only in Japan, this may be a repeat of what happened with Symphonia, 360 exclusive for NA and Europe, but on the PS3 in Japan (if that happened unless you know Nihongo it would make playing it pretty hard). But it does look like exclusives are going the way of the dodo, so it may happen.

The first part is Tales of VS. which is probably a fighting game, and would probably never come out over here, since it is a cross over game. On the bottom of the scan it shows that they say the new character of ToV would be, that little pirate girl, who look like she is no older than 8 or 9.

Ok it looks like it is real, unless it is an epic April fools joke (although if it was the cows would go back saying they never cared for ToV, but that is the same for all the fanboy groups.

We'll wait for an official annoucement. By the time that games comes out FFXIII will be out on the XBox 360 and PS3, and no one will really care. Most people have already beaten the game, so it'll most likely sell like crap on the PS3 anyways. It might sell well in Japan, but it won't sell well in U.S. or U.K.
