I agree that ps3 graphics are better due to the fact of the blu-ray disc.

Space wise, yes, PS3 wins hands down in that department, but I don't think I've ever met someone in person who really hated switching out disks. It only takes what, 5 minutes at the most to stop playing, switch discs, and load up again? Someone would have to be extremely picky to consider that a big flaw.

There is one clear advantage blue ray has over 360 dvd disc, it's the content that can be put into the games. Having 1 disc or multi disc doesnt necessary mean it looks better.

there is no confirm on how many disc ff13 for 360 will be having. Sure it will have multiple disc, since there will be alot of contents. But hey, what's wrong with standing up a few times to switch disc? wont hurt you will it?

Well your storage medium could effect texture sizes as well as any other graphical asset, but I don't think any developer would ever do that, they would just ship the game over multiple discs. While Blu-Ray can hold alot more data, the x3 BR reader in the PS3 transfers data slower than the x10 (or is x12?) DVD reader in the 360, but proper use of the HDD as a data cache or for partial installation is suppose to suppress that issue. As for changing discs, it take less than what....2 a minute tops? Also in older PS1 games, the disc change moment was kind of a moment to look forward to, as it was always done after an important moment in the story arch, and the down time was kind of nice to catch your breath again.........like at the end of discs 1 and 2 for Final Fantasy VIII. Blu-Ray is nice and all for the more cinematic games like Uncharted and Metal Gear Solid 4 where an exhorbitant amount of DVDs would possibly be needed, but seriously, quit *****ing when it's only 2, 3, of 4 discs. The only thing to really **** about is the shoddy way Lost Odyssey was packaged, with 3 discs in the spindle, and one in a sleeve.............as it was a cheap way of dealing with something that could've been done better, like two DVD cases instead.

in the case of MGS4... you dont play the game, you wait for another installation screen.... which takes longer than actually changing disks

I wonder how long and how many installs you'll have with FFXIII on PS3 compared to spending 1 minutes total in changes discs for one play through?

People will complain about having to spend one minute throughout a 40 hour game switching discs, but they'll sit through multiple 5 minute installs for stuff like MGS4 and talk about the miracle of Blu-Ray.

FF13 will be 4+ DVD's easy .... possibly, The FF13 PS3 Demo is over 5GB and its only 1 hour long. Its that long because FF13 has a lot of pre rendered 1080p cutscenes. The problem with using mutilple discs is redundant data, every disc will have to have the same basic info on every disc (character models etc.), making the available space for new info smaller. SE could make the cutscenes in game for the 360 version at 720p (game runs at 720p with 2x MSAA) to save space but it will increase loading time by just a bit.

first off, learn to speak english before anyone takes you seriously. Second, disk space has ZERO to due with rendering graphics.

Better Hardware = Better Graphics = More Code = More Space Needed; The PS3 might have more space on the Blu-Ray but that doesnt make the game look better if the hardware cant produce it.

Ah I might get brain damage if I stay here any longer cant you get the idea that PS3 and 360 graphics are nearly the same but to make a good graphics you need alot of codes and codes need space so alot of codes needs alot of space.

The PS3 has a lot of processing power. Especially the Cell but the RSX does fall a bit short from the 360's GPU.

Is it really that much of a big deal to you TC? I mean take MGS4 for example, it takes 5 minutes to load every new act. If it was a 360 game, yes you would probably have to switch discs but that can only take 1 min or 2. I can honestly admit that the PS3 has better graphics than the 360 but the 360's graphics are still quite impressive and it's not too far behind the PS3 it terms of quality. Also I'd like to point out that 360 most of the time has the better version of multiplats.
