Space wise, yes, PS3 wins hands down in that department, but I don't think I've ever met someone in person who really hated switching out disks. It only takes what, 5 minutes at the most to stop playing, switch discs, and load up again? Someone would have to be extremely picky to consider that a big flaw.
5 minutes? i would say maximum 2Space wise, yes, PS3 wins hands down in that department, but I don't think I've ever met someone in person who really hated switching out disks. but ffxll will have like 3-5 diskswickedwafflethere is no confirm on how many disc ff13 for 360 will be having. Sure it will have multiple disc, since there will be alot of contents. But hey, what's wrong with standing up a few times to switch disc? wont hurt you will it?
ok there has been no ps3 games that has 2 disks yet is this gen whyll otherwise xbox 360 games has dozens uv them even two uv da following 2009 exclusives has 2 disks (( forza 3 ( ) splinter cell))) but then the xbox owners want to say there games look better than ps3 games when there games are on 2 disks and ps3 games are on 1 and ps3 games still look better \wickedwaffleThe storage medium that a game is on has NOTHING to do with graphics. Plus, it's nice that you had to create a new account just to say that PS3 games look better....Couldn't say it on your normal account, because of how unsure you really are?
Thank god for BR...Making gamers even lazier.i think MS should stick to wat its capable of cause 3-4 disc games are so 1990 o.o

5 minutes? Is your console a block and a half from your house? I'm kidding... Its the amount of space that can fit on a blue-Ray vs regular cd, it has nothing to do with graphics.

in the case of MGS4... you dont play the game, you wait for another installation screen.... which takes longer than actually changing disks
I wonder how long and how many installs you'll have with FFXIII on PS3 compared to spending 1 minutes total in changes discs for one play through?
People will complain about having to spend one minute throughout a 40 hour game switching discs, but they'll sit through multiple 5 minute installs for stuff like MGS4 and talk about the miracle of Blu-Ray.

But hey, what's wrong with standing up a few times to switch disc? wont hurt you will it? FF13 will be 4+ DVD's easy .... possibly, The FF13 PS3 Demo is over 5GB and its only 1 hour long. Its that long because FF13 has a lot of pre rendered 1080p cutscenes. The problem with using mutilple discs is redundant data, every disc will have to have the same basic info on every disc (character models etc.), making the available space for new info smaller. SE could make the cutscenes in game for the 360 version at 720p (game runs at 720p with 2x MSAA) to save space but it will increase loading time by just a bit.[QUOTE="wickedwaffle"]but ffxll will have like 3-5 disksOPuniverse
first off, learn to speak english before anyone takes you seriously. Second, disk space has ZERO to due with rendering graphics.

Better graphics = more codes = need more space its simple cant you get it.

Better Hardware = Better Graphics = More Code = More Space Needed; The PS3 might have more space on the Blu-Ray but that doesnt make the game look better if the hardware cant produce it.The storage medium that a game is on has NOTHING to do with graphics. more graphics = more codes = needs more processing power (of which the ps3 doesnt have)

Oh.... oh dear....
There is so much wrong with that sentance im not even going to start...
So by your logic, If I had a PS1 game with 100 discs it would look better than any game on both the 360 and PS3 ... hmm interestingnavstar29
Ah I might get brain damage if I stay here any longer cant you get the idea that PS3 and 360 graphics are nearly the same but to make a good graphics you need alot of codes and codes need space so alot of codes needs alot of space.

you are ignoring the posts that prove that your logic is flawed
the ps3 doesnt have the processing power to push all those extra 'codes'

The PS3 has a lot of processing power. Especially the Cell but the RSX does fall a bit short from the 360's GPU.Is it really that much of a big deal to you TC? I mean take MGS4 for example, it takes 5 minutes to load every new act. If it was a 360 game, yes you would probably have to switch discs but that can only take 1 min or 2. I can honestly admit that the PS3 has better graphics than the 360 but the 360's graphics are still quite impressive and it's not too far behind the PS3 it terms of quality. Also I'd like to point out that 360 most of the time has the better version of multiplats.
