XBOX FANS!!! Do you plan on getting Kinect?

I used to have an xbox but if I still had one I wouldn't get Kinect....well...maybe for the Minority Report esque navigation video and music. But NO I think Kinect is terrible, And PS move isn't too shabby either. Just hella skeptical about both, especially Kinect, what do you guys think?

First off. I'm a gamer, but i won't buy Kinect until i can play Reach, Gears 3 with it. I will buy Move and own fools in Socom 4 and KZ3 with my mad waggle skills.

I am still not sure, It is coming out this fall and I usually have to purchase 2 copies of any game that has Multiplayer (Reach, MoH). So $150 hmm, I can probably put it to good use elsewhere. If I happen to have an extra $150 lying around yea sure I might.

The gamer in me says Wait until some better games come out for it.

The father in me knows that I'll have to get it for my girls thanks to games like Kinectimals. :P As soon as my girls saw that tiger cub I knew I was doomed. Hey, at least I'll have it for Child of Eden. :D

the no buttons thing seems to reallyappeal to the casuals who dont really play video games but would like somekind of bonding time with their kids with games

no. I wont be getting it, or Move...I dont even play my Wii.

I have it preordered. Honestly, more than any of the launch titles, I want to be able to talk to the 360 and navigate menus without a remote, but I am pretty stoked bout Star Wars, Child of Eden, and the rumored Fable III compatability. donalbane

Nope, the only game on it that interests me is Child of Eden but thats not enough to spend 150 Euro on. Altough if it comes out and is 80ish Euro then i might consider it.

I most likely will get Move however, LBP2 support and all that.

I test it out first if I think its worth it I'll buy it.

so far i have no interest in Kinect but it might change if some good games are shown..

I probably wont buy it right away, Ill wait to see how devs take it, if it gets some good games then I definetly will pick it up.

I already bought the new 360 so I'm Kinect ready. I'm not really getting it for myself, but for the people who lives and visits here that love playing stuff like that.

I'm going to wait and see how devs use it. Right now there is only one game that interests me. I like the idea of navigating the dashboard with it but it's not worth the price just for that and one game.

Child of Eden is the ONLY Kinect requiring game I have any interest in, and I'm not paying $150.00 + the price of the game for one game, no matter how awesome that one game is.

Or write off a piece of hardware altogether for that matter? If this comes out with some games that interest me beyond what the family wants I'll be all over it.

I will get it day one, i am so impressed by the new way of full 3D body mapping and immersion in a game, that as a hardcore gamer simply could not stand not try

Cant wait to start interacting with games in a never seen before way, possible only with Kinect of course, something that both PS3 Move and Wii can not give at all, because ar solimited technology

It is also hands free and you need no extras for friends to play

Kinect is the far future, only comingin a few months, cant wait

My brother recently brought to my attention that we have a collection of heavy wooden swords and other weapons we use for training - if I can use them to swing my sword in a game such as Fable, and it doesn't equate to random waggle, it could add to my training regimen.

But, I'd doubt anything like that will happen, so I'm saying no for now.

For 1499:- I say no thank you. The only game I have some form of interest in is Dance Central. I would like to try this motion stuff out at some point though.
