Lol that damage control. Ive had a 360 since 2008 and a ps4 for two years. They are pretty much identical in online stability

PSN outages also effect every account. XBL for the most part only affects some. XBL has supposedly been having issues over the past 3 days yet I've been using it just fine. When PSN is down though, everyone gets boned

PSN was down for a whole month once last gen. XBL has been down several times, but it's usually only down for 15-60 mins at the most. Not hours like PSN is down.

Yup me too. Just shows how stupid Cows continue to be. There's really nothing to defend here anyways. Online going down for 5-30 mins compared to hours is the difference really. We all know there will be a lot more outages in 2016. We all know which company has the more stable servers.

Not denying anything, but what I'm saying does make sense. Down 4x's for 5-30 mins each time or down 3X's for 2-4 hours? Microsoft is notorious for getting they networks back online pretty quickly. Sony? Not so much. PSN was not for 28 days last gen with the PS3. That's never happened on XBL. Not much else needs to be said really. Like I said, stupid Cows, making stupid threads once again.

Anyway I just got a call from the hospital telling us that my uncle has been in an accident so I'm off for the night.

Also MS have the super magical cloud, I'd expect their servers to be half way decent.

You guys are complaining about the wrong thing. You should be complaining about how horribly slow the download speeds are for downloading games, patches, or installing games are on xbox one. Xbox live is solid.

Takes about 20 minutes on average for me to download games on X1, so I haven't had a reason to complain about that.

My xbox one always takes forever to do anything. PS4 is blazing fast in that retrospect.

PS4 is about 20-30 minutes for a game to download. I love how fast both are. Been faster than steam for me lately.

I get a an hour or two on xbox one and about 30-40 minutes on ps4. Maybe i'm just cursed :D

well it's my second xbox one (sold original to get halo one) and had the same scenario. So do 3 of my friends who are on different ISP's.

Yup, it's still pretty slow. Especially when games are being patched. Thankfully I can still play other XB1 games while the downloads run in the background. I wish Microsoft would get this fixed though. Last gen, it was lightning fast.

That is a curse then. On all of my gaming forums, friends and family that all have Xbox Ones all have their games downloaded in the same time as myself.
