Xbox live has the WORST community on earth.

So you play COD4 and base your opinion on that?

Playing COD on any platform you'll get people like that.

I do agree it has the worst community though, everyone is just a super go hard. It's even made me turn into one of those guys a few times. :(

Well I can't say it's worse than all other communities but i have seen it most on Xbox LIVE. Although very minor, it really grinds my gears when someone team kills just so they can have the weapon you're holding in Halo... It happens 9/10 games! thank god i can kick them when i'm hosting!

But yeah i've also seen some racial abuse in a game of killzone 2.

I think it boils down to having a mic bundled in with the console. Basically like giving a huge crowd a microphone each. You're bound to have more people who can't sing than the vice versa. If you pay for the ability to speak, its probably not to spout nonesense

What you have got to remember about these people is they have probably got dead end jobs and no satisfaction from anything they do... Think about that and smile whenever somebody says something you don't agree with.

Being British I sometimes get **** just because of my accent. A bunch of people on GTAIV free mode were telling some british guy (who I admit was just being a total bean) to go and play a different game where everyone sounds like him, and whenever I spoke for whatever reason somebody did a bad cockney accent to take the piss and said stuff like "put another shrimp on the barby"... Funny considering I'm from the midwest, not the south... Of Britain that is. At least there was some consolation in the fact that he sounded so bad that it virged on a west african/austrailian-american imigrant accent. The irony in all this is that GTA is a British game.

I decided to pretend to be an American for the rest of the game untill the end where I anounced I was British and used my real accent, that was pretty funny because it just went quiet.

xbox 360 is the worst community ever. I can't believe parents are letting their 9 year old kids play cod4 and say that kind of stuff. It is sickening to hear what some people say and it makes me sad that people would actually say that kind of stuff, and to a complete stranger? There is so much racism and hatred on XBL that I never use my mic anymore. I always end up listening to music while I play because there are way too many idiots and frankly it ruins your gaming experience.

From my limited time with Xbox Live, i find it has one of the most varied communities.

Everything adds to the social element in my opinion. The flaming, racism and poor language all adds to a community experiance, making it feel more real.

I wish PSN users all had mics. I find Killzone very quiet at times.

There's the option to globally mute everyone not on your friends list on the dashboard. I just use that. If I don't know you, I don't need to hear you.

As bad as Xbox Live is. you have never experienced ijjis community. The worst community on the internet.
