I knew this would be the case..... my local EB Games (one of them anyway) still had XB1s available on launch day in the early evening. I wonder if MS's "1 Million Sales" are actually just shipped units....

No wonder it was a little to fast the whole 1 million call,so probably they went by what i claim,they shipped 1 million units, most stores are sold out so the go ahead and claim they sold 1 million but several stores have many unis still.

There are no PS4 to be found even that sony shipped allot more units in US than MS,because sony only shipped to US and Canada.

Be funny if true, has anyone got evidence that there are Xbox Ones (especially days one's) out there for purchase.

I know in the UK earlier ASDA (Owned by Wallmart) put more Xbox One's up for sale for people who did not pick up their preorders by 4PM yesterday. I've never heard of preorders not being picked up by people before. Did this happen in the US with PS4?

Well, I think it's more than just "shipped". I think Microsoft thought that every unit they shipped would be sold to consumers.

I think this is the first time every in console history where a console didn't sell-out on the first day. lol... Xbone looking like a bigger flop than Vita.

I'd dare to say, with a good amount of confidence, that EVERY GameStop in the US has a few in their stock rooms waiting for Black Friday.

I had mine delivered by amazon but I was out to a few stores Saturday and asked for a friend. They said everyone was sold out around here(Philly). Gamestop.com and bestbuy.com are listed as sold out

running out of supply is a good thing as it shows the demand, but Not having enough supply to meet demand is bad as Some people will go to the alternative.

Reminds me of the PS1 vs Saturn when they launch in Japan that sega claimed to sell better but stores were full of units,while no PS1 was in sight.

That is what i think happen either that or they openly lie about sales.

Like i say maybe they shipped one million units,many stores were sold out so they think all stores did sell out,which probably mean they jumped the gun,also show demand for the xbox one is not as high as it is for the PS4.

I don't think so both gamestop close to were i live are telling people that they get units in December,the same for the xbox one,since on those 2 stores they are sold out of xbox one to.

@FinalFighters: If theres a price drop, I hope it doesnt mean they take out the Kinect. That needs to be in every Xbox so Kinect gets supported good.

Problem is that is not a sell out even that there is no alternative that they were out shipped in US that show lower demand than expected.

Funny thing is, I've asked for a phone number to any of these stores that supposedly have XBone in stock, and no one seems to want to provide it so I can call and call them out on the bullshit.

Xbone has long load times, long install times, no play while installation, no streaming, 720p resolution, low quality graphics, and a myriad of last-gen console problems that the PS4 doesn't have. lol... Where's this "innovation", RR360DD? Where's this "feature-rich consoles", mems?

I picked one up today at Target. Target got shipments in last night. They put an add for a sale that started today. I was told because they put it in the add they had to make sure some units were available. There were lines of people waiting for the store to open. They were all gone the minute the stores opened. Don't listen to these idiots talking about XOnes still being in stock from the Friday launch. MS is doing a great job of producing and shipping units out.

I keep reading these "they shipped 1 million but it was WW while Sony's million was just in NA" crap. A launch is a launch. Sony shipped every unit they had to NA while MS had to break up it's allotment for multi territory launch. Meaning, MS was able to produce just as many launch consoles as Sony. Cows are stupid for down playing this.

Oh and Japan still is for 2014 on PS4 side which mean any other country MS release in will be easily over take by those japanese sales.

So...Toys R Us website has no Xbox One's in stock, and the one store that may have some Xbox One's is the only Toys R Us in the country that is inaccessible via phone number to check stock.

Well holidays are coming up, it would be a smart idea for stores to stock up. Plus because the PS4 is being released in more countries they're most likely to have a shortage.

But we discovered something even more surprising by walking two avenues further, to the Midtown Manhattan Best Buy store in 5th avenue. There we were told that there are still “a lot” of units left for sale. This doesn’t mean that the Xbox Didn’t sell well, though, as the store was allocated 1500 units, and they have more stored in a truck.
