It doesn't have darker images. But, it does reset your TV settings if you ask it to detect your TV. Dude, I HAVE an XBoxOne. I set it up, and I run my TV through it.

Whoever posted that doen't understand their own devices. If you have the XB1 recognize your TV in the initial set up, it resets the TV settings (on some TVs). Did that on mine. When I realized what had happened, I reset everything and it looked fine.
Who said multiplats don't count, other than Cows? Of course they count.
My advice to you, is to put down your cow horns and try an Xbox One. It's impressive tech.
