Xbox Scorpio at Digital Foundry?

It's going to be great seeing Digital Foundry giving a multiplat the best rating on the Xbox console over the Playstation one. I thought about buying RE7 on the Xbox One but I'll wait and get the superior version in nine months. How are the Sony Fanboys going to handle this? lol

Digital Foundry will minimize any advantage the Scorpio has on the PS4 Pro, and they'll still say base Xbox One is the worse port.

We're already aware of this, we already know every shared game with PlayStation 4/Pro is going to be better on Scorpio, we already know reviews are going to default to it, we already know it will be the go to console for the second half of the generation, we already know it's a salt factory.

What more can a thread like this tell us?

This isn't going to change any thing, people are going to develop with ps4 in mind due to it having over twice as big of an install base and it having the biggest video game per console ratio of any gen at 7.5

XBox one games will all come to pc

PS4 models will keep outselling the xbox one models

Oh and one more thing, the marginal difference between the pro and scorpio is the difference between the xbox one and ps4.

That much of a difference is not going to make or break anyone, especially due to the fact that the xbox one is a premium product that the mainstream won't buy due to being a premium product and not at the price point that makes it popular with the mainstream.

Regarding resident evil 7, vr makes the game shoot from a decent game to a must play game, much more than a single resolution jump. I'd argue that resident evil 7 is better on the base ps4 over the scorpio version (if it even gets a scorpio version, it might not, right back to the market share argument and the large gap of time) due to the fact that psvr is a thing, say you dont' have psvr, well you might years down the line when it's cheaper or when the library gets bigger, therefore the resident evil 7 base edition is better than the scorpio version even if they fully use the power to make it "pretty"

I'll cry into my stronger than scorpio computer and my large lineup of exclusives coming to ps4 and then I'll watch you cry into 3rd party cross platform games that don't help the tears stop when the ps5 comes or when you realize the scorpio is literally not helping microsoft at all.

Hey the VR timed exclusive for the PSVR ends in January 2018.

So that in the new strategy to hide behind the PC since you soon won't have the console power advantage anymore. Also there are lots of people that don't like to game on the PC.

Most likely Digital Foundry will ignore most of the comparison and only concentrate on the ones were they are close to even. Don't expect any big praises from DF after the Scorpio is released.

The original Xbox was the most powerful console of its time and it still got raped by the PS2. Games are the reason I and most people still play on consoles and Flopio has no games. All the power and still no games, it's gonna get its ass handed to it for the remainder of the gen by the weaker PS4 just like with the OG Xbox and PS2 back in the day. At least the OG Xbox had some great exclusive gems, Flopio has nada.

I'm not even a hater of PS4 Pro, but every PS4 owner I know doesn't want one. If PS4 Pro doesn't have the "best version of multi-platform" games, then what does it have?!? GAMES!!!

I don't particularly want a Pro, but I really want a PS4 cause their list of exclusives not on PC/Xbox, has some really top notch games. However, even if Scorpio is equally as powerful as PS4 Pro, all it is gonna take is 1 big game announcement. Prior to Scalebound cancellation I was 100% dead set on Scorpio. Now, with the list so short, I have more reasons to get a PS4 this holiday.

I'm too invested in Xbox to ditch it, and I don't exactly want the Pro, so I rather get Scorpio with a new PS4. Play all my multiplatforms and online gaming with Xbox, and then play Sony exclusives on PS4.

I really hope at E3 this year MS announces some new games that are only exclusive to the Xbox One/Scorpio to have the sony fanboys shut the f up!

Your logic is shit, you don't have the right to just cover your hands over your ears and go "lalalalala, pc doesn't exist", it does exist, and it makes the xbox one, the xbox one s, and the scorpio 99.999999% irrelevant and useless.

The only reason it's not 100% is because the xbox one has halo 5 (all future halo are coming to pc though, so enjoy it), Sunset Overdrive (will likely eventually come but oh well if it doesn't), and Fruit NInja 2.

A person can buy a pc and have the entirety of xbox's exclusives + the entirety of pc's exclusives, also they have many other benefits attributed to pc gaming like not having to pay to use online, cheaper games, the ability to upgrade whenever they want, etc etc.

The xbox one is literally an objectively inferior product to a pc of it's level, let alone stronger stuff, and I'd argue that even a weaker 150-200 dollar pc has more value still than even the scorpio does.

You could have maybe got away with it the first year of the 8th generation. Maybe even up till quantum break, albeit you'd be wrong since xbox's lineup even before it started to bring EVERY SINGLE GAME TO PC was still rather weak. Post quantum break, you're desperate and you have buyers remorse for buying into the xbox brand, either that or you need to really get some sense knocked into you.

Also the PC that will have to compete with a 6tflop Optimized Console will have to be a very high end PC. I am talking about a Pascal Titan X.

You can hook up a pc to a tv monitor, it is literally as easy as hooking an hdmi cord from your computer to your tv, heck, that's literally the exact same thing you do with an xbox one/ps4.
