people who get motion sickness are holding back game design when it comes to VR, reason i dont give a shit plus i dont like wearing some bullshit on my face.
I imagine they'll come around to it.
They should add support for headsets that work with pc and call it a day.
PSVR is the best thing about the PS4.
That's a plus as we need less gimmicks in gaming not more.
I mean Sony has half arsed it and barely supports it why should MS.
lol What?
VR is for basement dwelling single people. It’s also still a product that is limiting in nature due to health issues. Let it die again like last time.
This is what lemmings say when they are stuck with the Xbox - the console with no games or VR options. once philly boi does yet another 180 on his VR stance your tune will change along with it
All you play is racing games I play on console, PC, and VR from third person to FPS with a bunch of retro games in the mix plus others genres too. As for Google VR it has nothing to do with gameplay it's the amazing experience to explore the world in VR there's nothing like it.
"all you play is racing games" congrats on lowering yourself to casual4ever's low debating skills. Because racing is my favourite genre doesn't mean I don't play other genre's of games.
My level character comment was sarcasm, but this is not, thinking that looking at Google Earth through VR is better than playing actual games means this hobby isn't for you.
ip_daily only play racing games.
warmblur only play mainstream games.
thats the correction my friend.
OT: VR is a lame gimmick indeed. most of VR game bar alyx are just low budget indie games.
Currently playing...………..
Double headshot LMFAO
Congratulations for playing other games.
I've been playing "other games" for the past 30yrs.
Congratulations on mimicking and thus looking like the resident idiot in casual4ever.

lol What?
Where's Sony's biggest studio (Naughty Dog) game? in fact where are all Sony's biggest devs PSVR games? Sony shut down a studio last year that meant to make PSVR games. There's plenty of proof I you're willing to look.

Naughty Dog doesn't have a PSVR game.
That being said, major first party Sony devs with PSVR games/projects/etc.:
SIE Japan
London Studios
Media Molecule
Pixelopus
Guerilla
Polyphony
Sony Liverpool
Sony XDev
The list is incomplete, but those are the ones I know off the top of my head. This doesn't include exclusive third party games from devs such as:
First Contact
Camouflaj
Capcom
Pixel Reef
FROM Software
Impulse Gear
Supermassive
BANDAI NAMCO
Criterion Games
Etc., etc. Again, incomplete list, and just off the top.
Anyhoo. It helps to actually do research before you run your mouth.

Mimicking not really I actually agree with him as painful as that is. 99 percent of the time you just shit on every game that isn't Forza.

I said Sony's devs no point in adding in 3rd party devs, reading comprehension get some.
So what are these games from Sony's devs, can you name them???
Also i'm not talking about normal games with some sort of VR support, i'm talking fully fledged VR games.

You said Sony barely supports VR. Dude lists more than a handful number of studios, that's not enough?
Also, third party exclusives count. Sony, and most of the other console platforms (Microsoft/Nintendo), go out of their way to support third parties when they negotiate an exclusive by offering more tech support and marketing than they would to a third party non-exclusive game.
That's a plus as we need less gimmicks in gaming not more.

there is over 100 games for psvr how is that not supporting it? two of the biggest games franchises is in psvr resident evil and skyrim.
Sorry Sub, I know you're passionate for this stuff, but you're always going to be on the losing end of the argument when health is a major factor that turns people away from them.
You should NEVER prioritize an electronic device over health, and you should not expect anyone to be that way just because you can.
VR will be around for people like you that have the tolerance to break past the side-effects, but that's why it will only ever be a niche offering.
Lol, okay, dude. Like most other VR gamers, I just like gaming in VR. Don't really care what others think. And, again, it's not hurting you. You just have to get used to it, then you're good. If it becomes a problem, then stop playing, plain and simple. Otherwise a little nausea at first won't kill you, lol.
Have a nice day! :)
i know those same people get sick in the real world doing the same thing should they hide in doors?
i get weak and feel sick when im in high places but i love looking down the cliffs and feeling that same feeling because it feels real.

That's like saying the Wii had a strong library because of all the shovelware. Enjoy 500 games you'll never even play. Pandering numbers are great.
@gifford38: What an odd and irrelevant correlation you made.
no the fact is they will get better in time. they might make people sick right know because there not 60fps that your eye is use to in real life. but i love the fact i can feel it. i love feeling the affect looking over the sides of cliffs. it makes it feel real.

Yeah and you know what I actually like to do? I like to go outside and actually do recreational shit. I love heights and I don't get sick. You made odd correlation that people who get sick with VR get sick the same way by being outside.
That is false.

there are over 4000 titles on the ps4 you think i even scratch that surface nope. there is a lot of shavelware on every console even the switch.
but i have played only ten or so vr games so far. so there is plenty of good ones left.
Did i say there is 500 AAA exclusives on the psvr no i didn't.
all i stated that sony has supported the vr.
ow i_p daily did xbox not support xbox one because they had less exclusives than the 360?
@gifford38: So if you agree there's shovelware on all these platforms, then don't include them in your precious numbers to prove a point, because that's nothing to be proud of.
I know one thing's for sure: there's a TON of shovelware on VR, and tech demos that get by as "games." Hardly impressive.
@gifford38: What an odd and irrelevant correlation you made.

see if they get sick because of moving there character around in vr its because of the fps. that is the hardware. yes vr is not for everyone. but the option is there for others that do enjoy it. thats the point of the thread.
but getting sick because of heights = same in real life.
or getting sick flying a jet in vr = same in real life.

Surprise, surprise. You get owned, and then you come back with "bu....but....but can you list the names? VR support doesn't count! Only 'fully fledged VR games count!" And why wouldn't third party support count? Sony PAID for those games.
Lol. Next you'll start talking about reviews and sales. So predictable. Here's your original quote:
"Where's Sony's biggest studio (Naughty Dog) game? in fact where are all Sony's biggest devs PSVR games? Sony shut down a studio last year that meant to make PSVR games. There's plenty of proof I you're willing to look."
Nothing about "fully fledged" this or that, nothing about "some sort of VR support". Just about games. But it doesn't matter, because most all have made full games for PSVR. I'll leave off third party exclusives, even though Sony paid for those games (and there are many of them, such as RE7, Firewall, Until Dawn, Iron Man, etc. etc.) If we're talking about third party exclusives paid for by Sony the list would go on and on, basically. Anyway, here you go. A couple are VR modes, such as GT with selected tracks and whatnot, and Concrete Genie art mode, but for the most part these are full VR games, and most of them are built from the ground up for VR. Again, this is off the top, so the list is incomplete, and if I've made a mistake anywhere, forgive me, but it gives you a good idea:
Astro Bot--Full VR game, built from the ground up for VR
Blood & Truth--Full VR game, built from the ground up for VR
VR Worlds--Full VR game, built from the ground up for VR
Farpoint--Full VR game, built from the ground up for VR
Rigs--Full VR game, built from the ground up for VR
Wipeout Omega--Full VR game, converted to VR
Paper Beast--Full VR game, built from the ground up for VR
The Playroom--Full VR game, built from the ground up for VR
No Heroes Allowed--Full VR game, built from the ground up for VR
Dreams--Full VR game, co-developed for VR
Starblood--Full VR game, built from the ground up for VR
Here They Lie--Full VR game, built from the ground up for VR
Concret Genie--VR Mode
Driveclub VR--Full VR game, built from the ground up for VR
GT Sport--VR Mode
Everybody's Golf VR--Full VR game, built from the ground up for VR
Super Stardust Ultra--Full VR game, converted for VR
Ghostbusters--Full VR game, built from the ground up for VR
I have a PSVR and have used it maybe 4 times. It is cool in small doses, but I would rather just play my games normally. I also only played a few games on it. I just don't like all the wires and trying to stay aligned with the TV. I have experienced some really bad drift with it.
To sum it up, I am good with them not supporting VR until it becomes wireless with less bulky equipment strapped to the face.
