Poor microsoft :(

Oh noez. Microsoft didn't win an arbitrary award based on some random people's opinion. Now their oeuvre for this year is practically worthless.
By the way who in their right mind would vote for always on DRM Need for Speed over Forza?
This list is more than a joke. Not that these "awards" matter in the first place.

I think it says something....and you do too. it's why if this were Sony you'd have made a thread about it.
On the flip side...how the **** do you win "Best in Show" and not win "Best RPG"????
Well, come to think about it their demos weren't stellar in any way... still, stoked for Rise of the Tomb Raider and Halo 5 all the same.
@lamprey263: I think Microsoft deliberately wanted to keep the plot under the wraps to the highest extent possible. Especially with Halo. That's why they showed what they did.

Fallout 4 won the Best RPG award, nigga.
I couldn't tell which one was bold.
Plus at first...I thought the top one was the winner.
Well....that puts that to rest.
LOL, didn't lems say that Xbone had the best games at E3? Looks like no one else thought so.
So much for the "best lineup in Xbox history".

Well, I'm not complaining, I'm super stoked for it.
Microsoft's showing was pretty stale outside of Cuphead.
Not saying their games will be bad, but the demos were lame.
Its all just opinion based. And although theres a few I disagree with, theres only one award that actually bothers me. Best indie game. How the hell did this award not go to cuphead? No mans sky looks ok but Im calling it now that cuphead gets much better reviews.

Funny how that always on DRM thing is different now, huh?
They won more of my money this year though.

Yeah really looking forward to tomb raider and i'll still buy Halo 5 but I'm not too excited about that game maybe I will get excited once we're closer to release.
Forza 6, Cuphead, Hololens, OC Rift and Xbox Elite controller must not count since they are listed in the link.
Only Sony's mythical games that don't have release dates count. I guess.
Well lets face it, their gameplay showings were garbage compared to everyone elses at E3. Just not enough shown. Still, I'm looking forward to Halo 5 and seeing more.
@joel_c17: The reason for that is because they didn't show any games. They showed of Fables. Halo, Forza and Gears... What did you guys expect? The biggest thing they showed was Hololens and Backwards compatibility

Only the bold marked entries are the "winners". The rest are the nominations in those categories.

You literally just said they didn't show any games, followed up by a statement saying they showed off games.
I assume you're a smoking like chimney, man.

Yes. Good word of mouth and excitement for a product is always a negative.
Remember when Titanfall was going to be the CoD killer due to all those E3 awards? :D Good times man, good times!
Hey I'm enjoying the flip flopping this year from last year where demo awards were hyped.
Mainly because Microsofts big franchises need to prove themselves again, MCC collection really messed up Halo so Halo 5 needs to deliver. Last Gears game wasn't very good, so that is another franchise that needs to prove its worth, and Fable looks weak.
The rest of MS showings we know nothing about as they was mostly CGI trailers, I'm surprised Horizon won awards because it showed so little + it is Guerrilla games.
I'm glad Shenmue, Last Guardian and Final Fantasy 7 didn't win for the same reasons, without knowing anything about them or when they will come out it is tough to be excited.
Uncharted 3 and TLOU was loved by many so it makes sense that Uncharted 4 would win awards.

I'm excited about Shenmue and FF7. Last Guardian looks okay. And it is a game that has been hyped so I can see why some would be excited.
Neither Shenmue nor FF7 released anything so that's why they didn't win anything. They were just announcements.
We hyping up E3 awards now lol. I remember Rage won a whole lot of E3 awards one year, how many people was satisified with that game was it came out? E3 awards mean nothing in the long run of the game. I believe Titanfall won a few awards one year also and the final release of that game was barebones so what's the point of this award?

Not sure when that started but it was done last year when Titanfall won a lot.....

What other games did they really show? You expect them showing those, other than that there was absolutely nothing at all... They didn't show anything worthwhile for anyone that isn't a fanboy for anyone of those series

I just thought it was stupid to begin with. Yeah it's great to get excited for games you've been waiting for or getting excited for something you just seen and heard of for the first time, but not everything needs an award. E3 awards is like being on the cover of Madden, it can turn out to be a curse.

Cuphead, Tomb Raider, Recore, Sea of Thieves and a bunch of other indie games.
So, people that dig Gears, Forza, and Halo are fanboys? Yeah, okay.

Oh I agree. I think award shows in general are crap but especially ones based on unfinished products.
