I really can't take you seriously if you include Knothole Island as a serious x360 line up consideration...it was not even a good expansion saolin.Andrew_Xavier
What do you mean ? That is should only include games you like ?

Also the expansion was amazing, adds a new huge erea to explore, that changes in some amazing ways, and new quest, armor, items etc that apply to the whole game etc
Of course i include expansions that make amazing games even more amazing, why not ?
Fallout 3 expansions are vital to the game too, increasing the level cap and adding new snow areas, the game would be half the experience without them for me and are 360 console exlusives

You realize I own it right? Huge new area is stretching it, the area wasn't big, it added some interesting potions, but, it was no shivering isles or expansion of note...it was not even close to what was promised, and it was overpriced. Bringing Down The Sky was half the price, and took way more game time to complete. The only good thing knothole did, was bring your dog back to life, and let you get short and fat with potions :PSee, here's the thing, I actually liked Fable 2, because I went into it knowing that no promises would be forfilled, and it would essentially be fable 1 with a dog, I actually liked it, enough to purchase the DLC, but, the DLC was just so underwhelming, that I can't be bothered to play fable 2 again (to get the other 2 endings, I picked gold.)

The new area actually is bigger than most areas in the main game, and changes in more ways too
Also for me at least added almost as many extra hours as full retail agems like Gears 2, so was worth every penny, again for me, i am sure won't be the same for everyone
BTW does Bringing Down the Sky add huge new exiting areas to Mass Effect ? I was looking forward to buy it, but i read it is one of the shortest and most boring expansions

Bringing Down The Sky is great, it's hard, and fun to play, it's my fav expansion this gen.
[QUOTE="savagetwinkie"][QUOTE="Lewisite"]pc's dont count any more, they are not a standardized system like 360/ps3, for me 360 is exclusive unless i feel like dropping 1000$ on a computer to play these games. You may not think they 'count' for whatever reason, but the fact is that a significant amount of gamers own gaming PCs, and thus can play those games without buying a 360. Thus, not exclusive. No if it is on the PC it is not a 360 "exclusive". The fact you could play it cheaper on a 360 has nothing to do with it.
I own a PS3 and a computer that can run any game currently released. Guess I luck out with those "exclusives" eh?

Console exclusive duh

Does that expansion add new areas that look great and different than what is in the game already? Or is it just new quests on the planets already there ?
i would hope a console's lineup should outdo last year's lineup. its a goal shared by every company: do better this year than you did the last.
However, i hope an even stronger goal for each company is Quality, not Quantity.

ChiSoxBombers
Indeed, that is what i like best about 360, that has the top quality games like Fable 2, Tales, Lost Odyssey, Fallout 3 (full version), Gears 2, Banjo 3, Mass Effect, Star Ocean 4, FF13, Witcher, Two Worlds Temptation, Divinity 2, Venetica, KUF2, Alan Wake, NG2, Viva Pinata 2 etc
It is really amazing how many huge in game worlds, spectacular looking and deep, varied in gameplay games 360 has, especially in 2009

Yup While Cows are stuck with button mashers and sequels to flops lol I do like some PS3 games too, but they are mostly rents, like Uncharted 1-2, Heavy Rain, Folklore, Killzone 2, LBP etc, i bought Uncharted and MGS4, both were dissapointing, at least Uncharted looked greatWhile 360 has buy day one titles like Mass Effect, Fable 2, Lost odyssey, Last Remnant, Banjo 3, NG2, Tales etc all huge deep and varied games that last and are the ultimate in next gen gaming for me
I will definatly buy Demon Soul in 2009 though, that game seems like a buy, hope it is big too, also buy GOW3 and FF13vs if they come in 2009, still it is just 3 games that are not even in my top10 most wanted for 2009, comparing to 28+ i will buy day one one 360
PS3 has dissapointed me vastly though with White Knight and how generic, boring and last gen it looks to me, i was expecting the best scoring and most varied JRPG and turned out the lowest scoring and most repeatitve generic one sadly, that was a huge blow, since i bought my PS3 mainly for WKC, which now i will probably not even rent

It's a new environment (You're on an asteroid heading towards a planet) I played it and I must say it was really good for only 400 MS points.

Nice, i will have to try it then :), seems to add a good deal of stuff
I have not yet finished my 4th playthrough in insane mode, so it is a good chance to resume it i guess
If Two Worlds: Temptation is any good, I'll be freaking out. I was so excited for the first one, and it was quite possibly one of the worst games this gen. Maybe they can redeem themselves, though.Trigger_Hppy
Frankly, while Two Worlds was very unpolished, i liked it as a RPG a million times more than Oblivion, the quests were more varied, the locations far more varied, the monster vastly more interesting and did not scale, the skills far more interesting, the spells similar, the summoning especially was leagues better, the factions were far better realized than Oblivion etc etc
Of course TW had some huge issues, like the horrid animations in combat, especially with weapons, the horse which was a joke, the online which was another bigger joke, some frame rate incosistencies etc, but i had far more fun playing it than the repeatitve Oblivion as a RPG experience
Visually Oblivion takes it, even though TW did not look that bad, and had far more varied environments
Two Worlds Temptation uses a far better engine than both Oblivion and Fallout 3, in fact seems generations ahead of both those, and has new physics system for item stacking and real time waves and sailing in the ocean, with proper wind handling etc and of course now they are far more experienced and have a chance to improve on all the things wrong or not polished enough with the first
The 360 version is made ground up too, and we already have a stunning looking video on 360 running great, which means they have given much more attention to the console version this time, after all TW1 was their first ever RPG and 360 game and as far as i am concerend, that had 50+ hours of fun with the game, they did a great job considering the team size and budget
I am sure they will do exponentially better in TW2
im rather disappointed in the 360 09 lineup
all of its PC/360 exclusives i would buy for PC
making it, i can only look forward to GTA IV DLC and maybe halo odst... PS3 and PC have much better 09 lineup
Syk0_k03r
For me 360 has by miles better lineup than either PC or PS3
Simply because i can get the best of PS3 (Final Fantasy 13, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil 5 etc), PC (Alan Wake, KUF2, Mass Effect 1-2, Two Worlds Temptation, Venetica, Divinity 2, Dragon Age, Witcher, Risen etc) and xbox360 (Fable 2, Lost Odyssey, Gears 2, Banjo 3, Viva Pinata 2, Star Ocean 4, Halo Wars, Halo 3, Black Legion, Kameo, new Rareware-Lionhead-Mistwalker games, Magna Carta 2 etc)
And all that for just 199$
So, how does PS3 and PC have a better lineup ? In what ways exactly ? If you have a PS3 you miss most PC/360 games and all 360 exclusives, if you have a PC you miss on the best JRPG's and 360 exclusives
Only on 360 you can have the best of all worlds for half the PS3 price and multiple times less than a new PC

RE5 on 360 is a better choice, but FF13 IMO will be better on PS3. if the pc/360 exclusives are on PC, most likely they will be better on PC cuz most multiplats are better on PC... ignoring R*'s crappy gta iv port
why should i care about the price of the systems if i already own a high end rig, ps3 and 360... price would be the last thing on my mind
idc for jrpgs either, simply because im just bored by playing them. for the ps3 im looking forward to heavy rain, FF13, killzone 2, Gow 3, and uncharted 2 . for PC im looking forward to starcraft 2, diablo 3, Mass effect 2, and alan wake. for 360 im only looking forward to halo ODST, halo wars, RE5 and GTA IV DLC. both Halo ODST and GTA IV DLC are expansions to games i thought were disappointing(well at least gta iv was) and about halo wars......... RTS dont really go well with consoles

Only the thing is xbox is missing the most popular genre this year for exclusives. 1st person shooters. I'd prefere killzone 2, god of war 3, uncharted 2, MAG (yes it will be an 09 release http://blogs.ign.com/XoZeN/2008/07/21/96949/), uncharted waters, gran turismo 5, the rockstar project and kojima projects will be good, inFAMOUS, socom confrontation, Hardware 2 or quantum theory to 98% of the games listed. So what you are saying really is that xbox is better cos it's got more rpgs?I know what is coming to PS3 in 2009
My most wanted is Demon Soul and FF13vs if it makes it, anything else is either a rent or wait and see, i will probably buy Heavy Rain, and GOW3 too, but are last in my top games to buy list, i like huge games and huge RPGs next gen worlds myself above anything, that is games like Fable 2, Alan Wake, KUF2, Two Worlds Temptation, Divinity 2, Risen etc
BTW i always rent shooters like Gears 2, Killzone 2 etc, so those games are not important to me at all

Believe it or not, this is the reality
For example i know a little MGS4 secret that noone dares admit, i have never read about it anywhere, when you load a save from an older act that the one you are, the game installs that act again, and to go back to the act you were, it reinstalls again, isn't it UNBELIEVABLE ?
And i know, because i played that game to its half and then decided to go back to the before first act save to see the Gekkos, and voila, i had 20 minutes installations to go back
Is that proof enough ? I have some LBP trophies too, and i think one Uncharted trophie as well

wow you know something about mgs4! you cant be lieing! but seriously lems bring up the install argument every time someone mentions blu ray and multiple disks. The instals are not a secret only ps3 owners know, so no that isnt prove.I find it hard to believe you because i dont think somebody would buy all the consoles knowing that they wont use then because the 360 is better
It'll be a good line-up don't get me wrong but I can already tell just by looking at some of those screens that a lot of that list isn't just going to fail but it's going to do a half somersault and land head first on the concrete floor.

Do you have a PS3 ?
No other title installs infinite times like MGS4, only MGS4 has such a hugly "next gen" feature
It is the only game on the planet that has to install to load an old game save, so seems you have not played MGS4, see ?

About Two Worlds, it all depends on who is asking, if you are/were a PC gamer like me, you may find it great, if you are a casual console only that loved Oblivion and thinks is the most "deep" RPG on earth, then you will probably hate it
Both Gamespot and IGN praised the main thing about the game though, its RPG gameplay
BTW Two Worlds Temptation is my most anticipated title in 2009, above any other
The thing I love about the 360 is not only is it going to have far more games in 2009 then the PS3 it is far more diverse.
A ton of RPGs,
a few RTS games,
a bunch of shooters including the sequel to best selling FPS this gen Halo:ODST, F
orza 3 and Proracer proving again why the 360 is the console for sim racers.
a couple mmo games
further making the 360 the jrpg console
great DLC that the only console to get is the 360 for games like GTA4 and Fallout. and so on.
The 360 just has so much larger and diverse library then the PS3. The PS3 fans can try to come up with their damage control but it is a fact.

I am just saying the PS3 fans can say they think one library is better then the other and that is their opinion and no one is wrong with those. Anyone that trys to deny the 360 has a larger and more diverse library when compared to the PS3 would be wrong. Those are not a matter of opinions they are a matter of numbers and numbers do not lie. It is a late 2009 or 2010 game, let's wait for its final version to see how the visuals will be, not that it looks bad in any way TBH and jaggies are minimal
http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/7943/divinity2egodraconis093uu4.jpg
Well, of course it is a 50-100 hour vast RPG, so i would not expect Gears 2 visuals in the first place, but areas seem huge and very detailed, which i prefer to some better texturing myself and as all games, will look far better on a HDTV, that covers for most of those jaggies anyway
