Adam basically says they're not alike much at all, and also that both are worth buying. 4/5.

Adam is basically the only saving grace of that entire channel..

Although I have been enjoying Infamous I would say a 9.0 was a little high. It gets repetitive fast. Otherwise a fun game but I would give it an 8.5 to 8.8. Can't comment on Prototype because I haven't played it.

Prototype is a openworld massacre superhero game.

They're COMPLETELY different other then the open world part. And InFamous's world is FAR mroe appealing...

The ONLY thing they have is common is the open world and both main characters have powers.

I'll be getting both. It's impossible to choose one over the other. Prototype is from the guys who made Ultimate Destruction; the best free roaming destruction game. And inFAMOUS is from the guys who made the awesome Sly Cooper games.BioShockOwnz

InFamous is the better game. It's a lot more polished. The city is more alive. The characters are better(though I'm onle about 5 hours into prototype so my judgement may change here).

It has nothing to do with being exclusive. InFamous is simply better. Also as the TC said the games are so different they shouldn't even be compared. It is however alright to like 1 game more then the other....

The protagonist in InFamous may have powers, but that doesn't stop it from being a third person shooter with plsatforming elements. And as I said in a later post. Prototype is a open world beat-em-up. All your attacks are close range melee attacks.

I don't care what other people, most likely cows, said. these are the simle truths. I own both, I like both. But I honestly like InFamous better. the city is funner to explore, the characters feel more alive, i like third person shooters a little more then other genres with rpg's being my favorite. maybe that explains why i like InFamous better. who knows.

I will admit though. Prototypes powers kicks the **** outta InFamous's powers. Alex is badass.

Damage control for... a 2% difference?

inFamous is an awesome game and Prototype is getting good reviews, that is great in the gaming community. IMO these games are comparable their sandbox super/anti hero games.The thing that Sucker Punch did which was smartwas that they released first and got the reviewers and PS3 owners spoiled like myself. Ialso believe Protoype ain't getting a fair share because of the inFamous game its taking hours away(addicting).
