Y did't people complain about Ps2 graphics but complain about Wii graphics

Clearly the Ps2's graphics weren't as good as the gamecube's and Xbox's, and clearly the Wii's graphics aren't as good as Ps3's or 360's yet people always complain about Wii's graphics.Edit:This wasn't even an argument to defend teh Wii. I was asking a question and I don't know why this got so many replys considering everyone said the same thing, and I would just reply instead of doing an edit that no one would read but then more people would just say the same thing when they see the topic

Just from reading the topic's name alone I think I can confidently say this is the worst argument yet to justify the Wii's graphics (that I've seen at least).

The diference between the last gen consoles graphics wasn´t as big as the one we see between the Wii and the HD twins,not to mention the PC.

This pretty much.

not to mention the PS2 didnt have much competition graphics wise when it first came out. the xbox wasnt out yet and it pretty much instantly crushed the Dreamcast. by the time the XBox came out everyone was pretty happy with their PS2s, mostly because of the awesome games. graphics arent everything.

The disparity between the ps2 and xbox/gc wan't nearly as big as the disparity between the Wii and the ps3/360. Additionally, the other consoles launched after the ps2, which means they should have had better tech. The Wii came out after the 360, at the same time as the ps3 and couldn't even produce its last gen graphics in a current gen resolution, which is a game breaker for me. That fuzzy picture gives me a headache on my LCD, so I don't bother with it.
