really ? I don't remember anyone saying these things when cod 4 came out. Back then halo was the series that everyone was hating on. And people here would say cod 4 was more tactical. It's kind of funny looking back on it now.

I made the exact same revelation that the TC made back before MW2 was even out. This was back around the time MGS4 came out. Every single person on the internet was saying the exact same things they are saying now, about Call of Duty 4. "generic" "rehash", etc. Literally word for word EXACTLY the same things being said about MW2 and Black Ops.

hmmm maybe I'm remembering wrong. I remember like it was yesterday everyone loving cod 4 and talking about how it was so much more leet than that "overrated" halo 3.

I can understand one game, but you hate on EVERYTHING lol. MGS4, Uncharted, CoD, Gears, Battlefield 3 (you were even hating on BF3 earlier today in my other thread). Im starting to think you are just one of those people who will never allow yourself to be satisfied, and hate just for the sake of hating. I mean, literally EVERY post is negativity, towards almost EVERY big game. What DO you like bro? :P The internet is a negative place that breeds nothing but negativity, and every gamer feels entitled. I think the entire internet gaming community needs to just step back from the internet for a day, and just ENJOY their games for what they are.

the way i see it, CoD is a faster paced, more arcady shooter, while battlefield is slower, more tactical. it all depends on what you feel like playing.

So, you owned a couple of guys in MP? Man, that feeling your getting is gratification, because this game is so casual the players are on a constant gratification roller coaster. Add to that its high frame rate, equals a fast experience of pleasurable emotional reactions. How ironic calling haters kids wen you can't even define that common fact of a feeling you're getting.

But for people that want content and quality, they'll play other games.

Its a very good game it has just not been balanced all that well since COD4. And SP can be a hit and miss with people, but there is nothing special about it.

I voted Call of Duty is a good franchise but has to much hype. Seriously it's an alright game but the hype it gets is rediculous! And there are so many other games that are a lot better but they don't get the recognization they deserve because the hype around CoD is to much.

I can too. It's easy to play. Personally, I don't enjoy it that much. The campaigns are super boring.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.

COD games are good (sure they have flaws, but what game doesn't.

COD franchise though is bad/horrible. It just refuses to evolve much at all, and still has not fixed many of its flaws.

Avtivision, there is no ******** excuse for not having dedicated servers by now. There no way you don't have the money to do so.
