Sure i'ts not the best game of 2008 if you ask me, but it definately isn't the worst sequel.

Even if you don't like MGS4, atleast it is somewhat diffrent from MGS3. LV2 isn't any diffrent from LV, and it isn't even as good. It's a pretty good deinfition of a terrible sequel.

Good point. He even gave it a really harsh review, more so than MGS4. Everything he says is a tired cliche at this point. I can pretty much sum up the Prince of Persia review, and I havn't even watched it, I'm that confident I know what he will say. It stops being funny when you know exactly what's going to be said, espically when the actual humour fails to impress, which is most of the time now. It annoys me when I see people talk about Yatzhee as if he says it like it is, when in reality he's most likely making fun of the people who would be saying these things in the first place.

how many sequels were there this year? Resistance 2, Gears 2, Fallout 3, Fable 2, GTAIV? That it? If so, it's not saying a lot to say that. it was a great year for sequels. I think MGS4 is arguably the only one in that group where many people feel the story took backwards steps. I think most agree that: R2 > R1 Gears 2 > Gears 1 Fallout 3...well...nevermind. Fable 2 > Fable 1 GTAIV >= the others so...again, it doesn't surprise me much. for me: MGS3 = MGS1 > MGS4 = MGS2. Dreams-Visions
