You do know that cross platform gaming being good for the gaming community is also an opinion. the only evidence that exist and is based on facts is that the Xb1 gaming community needs cross play due to umm like 30 mill Xb1 sold vs 90+mill PS4 sold .

No, this is just relevant because they know when people wants to play MP games they'll generally go to PS4 since most of their friends will be gaming on it and the user base is bigger, with crossplay, this problem wouldn't exist and people could buy Xbox and play with their PS4 friends.
