Year to year sales compared for every system for Jan to June (NPD)

This is the first six months of this year compared to the first six months last year (NPD)

The 360 and the DS are the only systems to see growth. The 360 seeing a 21% increase.

The Wii while seeing a decrease in numbers it is still the clear leader in the consoles.

Sony looking bad all around. The PS3 seeing a 30% decrease a large decline in sales.

Nah the DS and PSP are pretty neck to neck. DS has more AAAs and less AAs but PSP has more AAs and less AAAs so it's pretty equal in the end.
Both are pretty good systems.

No wonder why gaming developers are threatening to stop support for Sony gaming products especially the PS3.

I hope with these new games coming out Sony can do something to pump up sales in the US again.

Does anyone have a chart like this for software? That would be a better comparison.

especially considering the 5 AAAE are mostly from 2006/2007 with the last scoring good game coming out in the middle 2008 while PS3 has scored `1 AAAAE and 2 AAAE just in 2008 and 2 AAAE this year alone.

Microsoft family? Games on the 360/PC are on each individual one and belong to both personally, not like artificially connecting two completely seperate systems to spin sales.

And you do know that exclusives aren't the only games on a system, right? And you remember THIS, right?!

You can't go wrong owning a 360 or PS3, but why do sales matter?

If that was the case wouldn't PS2 be on top for awhile until Wii catches up? Or is this selective stats to make my system of choice look better?

I wouldnt be suprised to see a large spike in PS3 sales from the PS2 base that are just waiting.

Sony are not losing fans. To even say so makes no sense...
They are losing fans why? Because of an expensive console?
They just cant afford a PS3.

it's not exclusive it's like comparing games that are both on wii and PS3 or PSP and PS3 and saying it's exclusive to the PS3 lineup then we could add Ninja Gaiden Sigma and MLB The Show 09 getting 6 AAAE it shows desperation on your part.

No, I said that I like the pS3 library better so I don't agree with YOUR OPINION of the 360 library being superior. I couldn't care much for the 360 library and that's why I don't own one. Do you have a problem with my opinion?
