i will ask some of you older ps3 fans, that have gamed since the begining, what did you first play on before playstation ever existed, if you gamed most probably an 8-bit system, now were those so pretty to watch, no, but then why did you play......(cur jepordy theame)...times up, if you diden't get in in time, the awnser is what is gameplay, thats right, those who have been in the buisness since B8B (before 8 bit) and up to 16 bit know that what kept players captivated was gameplay.
so older playstation gamers, ask yourself, sony need to get in shape and start caring more about gameplay than grafics, or be left behind.

Well I started gaming in the 16 bit era and I still remember thinking Joe Montana Footballlooked soooo real, there was nothing else to compare it to so why would I think those games looked bad? It wasnt until the PS came out that I thought all those games looked bad. Then came the PS2 and thats when I thought PS1 games looked bad and now that PS3 is out I think PS2 games look bad....When I buy a system I expect a huge graphical leap. Gameplay is never a question, for a game to be successful it needs great gameplay, devs know this, like everyone else does. Warhawk, RB6V, I think have great gameplay and look pretty at the same time, NBA 2K7 looked freakin amazing but what really had me loving the game was the fact that with those amazing graphics was the amazing animations that were seen in the game and how it made everything come together to have great gameplay, the game played so fluently and looked so realistic and thats what I want in a Sim sport and I feel we keep getting a little closer to that goal with Sim Sports games and anything else that tries to capture that realism.
