That piece of shit

Beautiful
Doesn't this game come out in October? Early review.
Europe got it early, so the European outlets have their reviews
NintendoWorldReport – 8.5 / 10
GameReactor – 9 / 10
VideoGamer – 6 / 10
Nintendo Life – 9 / 10
GameSpot – 6 / 10
DigitalSpy – 3 / 5
GamesRadar – 3.5 / 5
That's the other ones so far.
Shit that was unexpected. So is GS the outliar again?
Well the apologists will cry, bitch, moan, and complain about something being a hits thing, and not you know a by product of the person didn't care for it. But it seems that the 6 isn't just a gamespot thing, the other European outlets haven't exactly been throwing easy praise at the thing. The common sentiment of the core game is way too easy, basic, and shallow is fairly consistent. The praising reviews argue that going for all the collectibles mitigates the core gameplay being dull.
Yoshi's Island will remain Yoshi's only good game as the start of the show, and it's a shame, because the most recent game is adorable as ****. I mean look at this shit
They somehow made Yoshi more likeable, except for the part they continue to make his games lame.
Kick Yoshi to the fucking curb.
He's sort of right. Yoshi is a sidekick. The yarn idea is at the mercy of his gameplay elements. Bringing in a new IP would have given them more wiggle room to do more with the idea.
That said, I'm going to preorder my Yoshi Yarn Amiibo bundle as soon as they stop selling out.

Where can I pre-order the bundle? Looked everywhere ( I thought) but coldn't find it anywhere.

The mechanics have nothing to do with it, Yoshi's Island is an excellent game on the snes to this day. Nintendo just decides to limit the platforming quality of Yoshi and franky Kirby as well. They're too easy and simple, where the original Yoshi's Island wasn't afraid to challenge the player.
But yeah Nintendo could have done one better and made the yarn stuff it's own actual ip.

Yeah I would have really loved this to be good. It would have only made life better. But I kind of got a Yoshi's Story vibe from day one any way. Perhaps a blend of Island and Story but what apparently came out the other end a mess. I'd still like to play it for myself though. There's always the chance of enjoying it regardless.

Amazon I think had it for two seconds before it sold out. Stupid amiibo hysteria...

Between this and New Yoshi's Island me thinks Yoshi should take a time out and get his act together.
My daughter does´t give a damn about scores nor knows anything about them, she´s gonna love the game because it´s so cute.
Any good parent would let her play for five minutes. Turn it off. Burn the game and the case in front of her. Then tell her it's a six and she's not allowed to play a game that scores a six. Bonus points if you make HER drop the match that burns the game and the case. Because kids learn better through personal experience.
Now THAT is how you parent.
Unraveled will be Yarn King in a not too distant future.
Yes, even if the gameplay doesn't look all that interesting.
Meh, I'm gonna rent it at least. I don't think Yoshi is ever gonna top his debut.
Nintendo will never put any of their A-teams on Yoshi ever again, so it's basically a done deal in that regard.

That´s too funny, btw, we play Monster High, it´s one of her favorites.
@jg4xchamp: Not like their A-teams mean all that much nowadays. Shit is pitiful.
Semi-true. 3d World and Donkey Kong are still competent and well designed, they are just creatively bankrupt. These yarn games aren't lacking in the creativity department necessarily if Kirby's Epic Yarn is an indicator for how Wooly World works, they just need someone that is willing to give the games some actual bite.

Nintendo's A-Team are still capable of creating amazing things. SMG2 being the last amazing thing they did.

Donkey Kong maybe but 3D World was wildly creative in my humblest of opinions.
Aaaaand Nintendo's string of shitty platformers continues. Not a good day when Sony's last platformer absolutely wrecks Ninty's work since SMG2
Knack?

Can't wait for Tearaway to end up this fall where it always belonged, on the playstation 4.
@bobrossperm: I forgot Knack was a thing, so I'll edit it to Tearaway, because god bless Tearaway.
Day uno on PS4 in september. Expanded levels, extra content, graphics built from the ground up all in a silky smooth 60fps. There's flying gameplay segments too that weren't in the vita game. Definatly worth double dipping.
@bobrossperm: I'm getting it for sure, game was too good in 2013 to pass up (despite everyone doing so because lolvita). My wife's playing it again for the first time and she's in love with it too. Game is just joyful to play, like when Nintendo made great games.
I'll enjoy it. Kirbys Epic Yarn was the same way in terms of challenge, where most of it came from the collection of secrets and ranking. Will see though I don't really like the whole idea of oddly placed invisible collectables.

Well the price of the vita didn't help. They handled that console like shit to be honest. But I can't wait for it on PS4. I hope they are able to do it justice with the DS4 too.
"visuals won't impress everyone"
Da ****? Maybe if the person in question has a big gaping vortex where their soul should be
