Yoshida: PS4 Version of Multiplatform Games Must Be Considered the Best

We need to make sure users consider the PS4 version to be the best and the one that they want to play, he told Japanese publication 4Gamer.net. That might mean that the graphics are better, the controller is more comfortable, or the point I mentioned earlier about the console being more user-friendly, like you dont have to turn the power on and off or you can switch between your game and Netflix at will."

Which has been the 360s stratgey for half of this gen. How many studios did Sony shut / cut ties with last year? I can only see this trend continuing ...

Either he's not talking about PC and just PS4 vs Xinfinity or he's saying that he wants people to think the PS4 has the best version of multiplatform games. He's not saying outright that the PS4 will have the definitive versions of multiplat games

Don't make me laugh. PC has the most crappiest ports. If the game is being released on consoles first, then you can guarrantee it's going to suck on PC.

Because Microsoft are financially in a much better position than Sony (I know everyone hates the mention of money around here, but its perfectly valid).

Sony wouldn't get away with something of the scale of the exclusive GTAIV DLC which MS supposedly paid $50 mil for. Yet it was a huge success for MS

I've had no issues with PS3 multiplats this gen,despite what the lem fanboys say.Next gen will be the same with PS4,if they are better or not than Nextbox I'm not bothered.

I like Playstation for all the excellent exclusives Sony bring and having all the great third party games is good as well.

If I said the 360 is better because it has Tomb Raider which runs and looks slightly better than on the PS3, not to mention can be played with a more comfortable controller and is supported by certain online features that the competition lacks, then yeah it does make sense. Thats why the consoles are pushing features that enhance all games.

Example, Sony might say buy a PS4 because not only does it have all these games that the Xbox has too, but with us you can share videos and screens with the touch of a button.

The SONY dream team will ensure that their customers get the best experience.They are the true heroes of the gaming industry.
