Because it's a sequel to a flop. And it might be overrated like most shooters.:P Though I think Call of Duty 4 is the most overrated FPS this gen.

Yes it has.

Still too expensive, though. I could care less about blue-ray, so I don't see the point in shelling out that much cash for something that I don't care about. I honestly think Sony would've seen a lot more sales if they didn't have the blue-ray tech, and had the console at a cheaper price.

If comeback is the name to give to a console that is supposed to destroy the competition sale and game wise but ends being completly dominated by them, i agree!

I personally don't see it, though I think Killzone 2 is better than Call of Duty 4, and it's longer and has bots too!

How have they made a comeback? Last gen they had more exclusives, more first party AA-AAA games, the sales are still underwhelming and a vast majority of the games out are out on the 360 and others a still a while off. That's like having an artist who usually sells 1million record, drop down to 2 records and then make the jump tp 52 records. It's not a comeback...not by a longshot what the PS3 is doing. No it's costing money.

Sony's comeback is, if anything, like that of Ricky Williams - a once dominant force to be reckoned with now delegated to benchwarmer status.

Not true. I was once all Xbox 360; that was until I bought a PS3 about a week ago. My Xbox 360 has not been played since! I bought Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and MGS4; those games alone trounce almost all games in my Xbox 360 collection, which includes Halo 3, Gears 1 and 2, Call of Duty 4/5, and Mass Effect. The games were just made better to me. All comes down to personal preference. I own both so don't say I'm biased lol! P.S. To stay on topic, yes the PS3 is making a great comeback at least in my area (ASU). A lot of people around campus are buying into it more due to the Xbox 360 hardware failure rate and growing game library of the PS3. More than half of my close friends bought one after their Xbox's blew up, and I finally joined them, and see why they stayed with the PS3. I still love my 360 though, and will still use it for Call of Duty and Forza 3 when it comes out.

yep, exactly.

It only took FEW years.

It always starts slow. Even 360 was sluggish. The reason they got out of it quicker was because there was no competition.
