[QUOTE="JLF1"][QUOTE="AdrianWerner"] [QUOTE="JLF1"]The big problem is that the old Fallout fans would hate on F3 even if it was made by the original developer instead of Bethesda.
Fans of the series are probably expecting to much on this game and will probably be disappointed however the game is made.
Bethesda is playing with the emotions of a 10 year old franchise and the fans is obviously going to have a biased opinion on it,
it doesn't matter if F3 becomes the best Fallout ever the hardcore fans will hate on Bethesda anyway because of the things they wanted to see in it that wasn't even in the original games. If black Isle would come back and remake the two first games and the only changes will be better graphics and audio quality the hardcore fans would hate on it and claim that the game has lost it's charm. What I'm trying to say is that the fans are expecting to much and have already started hating on the game so the smallest flaw would be blown up to huge problems, this game can't succeed to please It's fans even if it was the best fallout ever to come out.

Nonsense, the majority of fans liked what they saw from Van Buren
Fans hate FO3 because it doesn't resemble previous games much, it doesn't feel like sequel, more liek some random post apocalyptic RPG that just happened to have Fallout name sticked on it. Fans will hate it because it will lack many of the things that made them fans of original Fallout in the first place
So what are really missing in F3 compared to the first two?
I strongly suggest that fans of the series would go and play the games today instead of having a 10 year old memory of it that is clearly biased.
Typical apologiest!!What is the point of your little rant when you dont even have a clue what we are worried about? and to make things worse you havent played games..how would you understand our concerns the? Most of the RPG cant hold a candle to fallout
main things
1)No turn based..it was a turned based game and now is not. Vats is not turned based!!
2)One of the strongest elements in Fallout was dialogue and by looking at Bethesda's crap record of Oblivion,we have a big problem. Multiple ways to solve quests.
3)No iso
4)Dark Humor-Bethesda take on dark humor is ripping somone head and taking to it. Thats not Fallouts take
List goes on
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Very smart to personally attack me in your first sentence. If this would have been real life you would have already lost the debate.
What rant? All I'm saying is that fans of the franchise have been looking forward for a sequel for years and then Bethesda comes in and ruins it all. The point is that fans have already doomed this game before it's even out because of Bethesda's previous trackrecord.
I have to ask you, do you think Black Isle would have made this game the way you really wanted it?
The only thing missing is that you start blaming consoles for the fall of the franchise.
