Snagged xbox gamepass 1yr deal from Best Buy $70.
I went ahead and picked up an Xbox One S for £144 with 3 months of Live and Game pass included. I know I know, PS4 has a bunch more amazing exclusives plus a much larger player base, but I am pleased with the deal I got. Was originally looking to shop for a PS4, but the reductions were straight up terrible this time around, here in the UK at least. Both great consoles, but in the end it was the backwards compatibility and services that won me over. Between the 3 months of Game Pass included, plus the £1/month offer for new users Microsoft were doing as well as half price on a 12 month voucher off Amazon I won't have to actually buy any games for ages! :)

I think you made the right choice in the end. Xbox One S with BC does has it's benefits and most of all, with the S, you also have 4K movie display. I gotta say, that's a sweet deal right their :)
Just got me a new PC case: Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic this pass Friday for only $100 at Fry's Electronic and now that I got myself a Ryzen 7: 2700X along with new fans and Ram, I am now totally ready to build my new PC starting tomorrow :)
@davillain-: Cheers DaVillain, yep I'm looking forward to starting a Mass Effect series playthrough on my days off! ? Hey nice bargains by yourself there too, sounds like you're all good to go. Best of luck with the building, and hope you enjoy your new PC dude.
Yea...it is coming along. Just waiting on some more parts to finally start a dual water loop build.
lol I was wondering how you are gonna cool that processor, seeing as how it has 32 cores.
Does the 32 core threadripper run much hotter than a i9 9900k ?
Couldn't find the right deal for a PS4 didn't seem to have the reductions I thought it would. Didn't go crazy this year.

I am not sure which one runs hotter, but I will be overclocking it. I haven't received all of the parts yet for the build. Just waiting on a lot of things to arrive in the mail. However the building will be in a Corsair 1000D case and have 3 radiators in there.
@mandzilla: I got that gamepass deal. So great to get a new console home and to have dozens of games to play as opposed to the 1 or 2 game you could afford. And as I’ve come into this gen very late there is a tonne of stuff on it I’ve not played yet.
I picked up a Logitech G502 proteus spectrum and a HyperX Alloy Elite MX Cherry Brown Mechanical keyboard
The mouse was on sale early for about $34, and I'm using it now and love every bit of it.
I got that same mouse deal! I had the G502 already, but it wasn't the RGB version. Now I can sync this one up with my G560 Logitech speakers.

Ooh, nice haul!
Just did digital game sales, got latest Destiny 2 expansion, the FFXIII trilogy and Saints Row: The Third via XB1 BC, DOA5 (still haven't played it), Injustice 2... think that's it.

Oh yes, I been meaning to reply to this.
I already posted my new PC in PC Hardware forum, guess I need to show you my new set up: (Copy/Paste what I said in the other thread)
My Ryzen 7: 2700X/1080Ti (current GPU from my old PC) setup! I kept my PSU 650w 80 Gold, GTX 1080Ti, & SSD 1TB and move them into the new build. This was my most ambitious build I have ever done, my next door neighbor also help out on what should I add and go for. All in all, I needed this new build to be my mini workstation/streaming/all-gaming Rig.

That airflow, though. Looks pretty bad ass. I kind of regret going with the case I did, because the airflow isn't the best, but oh well, I do love the RGB light on the front. Lol
@DragonfireXZ95: Thanks. I tested the airflow and so far, it's not bad at all. Intake starts from the bottom and outtake at top & radiator fan side back. And it doesn't interfere when I put the temper glass on the sides but like I said, this is my first ever going RGB and all I really need now is a good 1440p/144Hz monitor but I'll have to get that next year, I spend alot of money on this and doing holiday shopping so yeah, gotta recover my savings as it is lol.

That's a sexy rig you've got there my friend :).
2gb ssd for 280 cad ?Will migrate my OS to it, so the boot times for my PC will become really short.
