As much as I loved Gears of War, my game of the gen thus far is tied between Bioshock and Mass Effect.

Honorable mentions are Halo 3, Gears of War, Call of Duty 4, and Lost Odyssey.

I really don't know. I've spent the most time with Oblivion, but then I think maybe a different game. Shooters haven't been impressing me lately... Assassin's Creed was a very fresh experience I thought but it was also a tad repetitive... I'm still at the beginning of Mass Effect, haven't played Lost Odyssey yet...

I think I would say MGS4 because it kept me enthralled all through playing it and the story was superb as well as the gameplay.

So far COD4, but the only other game I have played from "this gen" is Gears and C&C3. My choice will probably change once I finish playing HL: OB (Currently playing HL2) and Mass Effect. Then there is Bioshock, Witcher, STALKER and Crysis... Oh god soo many games so little time :(

Uncharted- Best looking console game, stunning. Gameplay is well above average and just an all round good game

Gears Of War- My first next gen game, amazing

But no game compares to the masterpiece...

Thats not easy to say just one game!

I loved Oblivion, GTA4, Gears, Mass Effect, etc.....I also play Bad Company a lot on live. But in my opinion, the best of the best is halo3!!!

For me it is MGS4 and Uncharted. Can't get enough of those games. Although like stated earlier, I did put alot of time into Oblivion.

I can't decide between Team Fortress 2, Super Mario Galaxy, and Mass Effect. All so good. Maybe Too Human or Prince of Persia will take the cake though
