Unlike most of the gaming world, I actually disliked BioShock, Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 and only moderately enjoyed Gears of War. Now the games I have actually enjoyed, quite thoroughly no less:
1. Mass Effect (the best game I have played so far this generation) 2. Dead Rising (was the best of the generation until I picked up Mass Effect) 3. Devil May Cry 4 (badass)
I liked Gears a lot but not as much as the above. Haven't played Mass Effect though and only played the first hour or so of MGS4 so when I get the opportunity they may take the top spot.
