demon's souls. even though it combines multiplayer with single player, demon's souls is the best singleplayer experience i have had this gen by far. MGS4 would be second

Crysis, The Witcher or Stalker:COP. Can't really decide. :P

I've had a lot of great single player experiences this gen; heck, I've had many this year. If I had to pick one, I'd go with Uncharted 2. Naughty Dog poured everything they had into that game.

bayonetta, god of war 3 and ninja gaiden 2.

Either MGS4, Uncharted 2, or Demon's Souls. It's hard to decide between those 3.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Heavy Rain, amazing game. Despite people saying that the shift of MP focus this gen has hurt SP games, there seems to still be a lot of really great SP games to choose from.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is probably the game that provided me with the greatest single player experience this generation, offer a very fast but yet satisfying gaming experience.

I find it weird that i lot of people think that it one of they best SP experience.

It's on Wii, it's cartoony, no guns or violence... is it because it got 10 everywhere and people got into the hype ?

I haven't played the game yet but i've seen a lot of PS3 exclusives (choices) which lend me to believe that PS3 fanboys consider they games as the best without any other considerations

To me Resident Evil 4 (Gamecube) was more engaging than Alan Wake was i played it. I know its not this gen but i find it a little disappointing except for some innovative DS games and innovative Wii games
