Your greatest single player experience this gen?

My pick would be Uncharted 2, a game that absolutely nailed everything except boss fights. Shooting tree slime FTL. God of War III, Metal Gear Solid 4, Mass Effect 2, Assassin's Creed II, Alan Wake, Infamous, The Orange Box & Super Mario Galaxy were unforgettable experiences too.

I'm going with BioShock on pure enjoyment, but I'm really digging Super Mario Galaxy 2 so far and it will probably rank up there as one of my personal favorites from this gen. Mario is still the platform king!

I don't know if its the Mass Effect games or the Mario Galaxy games, they are both amazing though (this has been an amazing generation as far as I am concerned).

I enjoyed FFXIII and Valkyria Chronicles the most so far, but I don't have many current gen games.

MGS4. No doubt. There were more times my jaw dropped in MGS4 than any other game, and there were times I was involved with the characters and felt a emotional connection in MGS4 than any other game. Even heavy rain, as great as a game that is.

So yes. MGS4.

oblivion for sure

it was spring break when that came out and sadly i had strep throat the ENTIRE spring break....man that sucked, but i remember it fondly as a good memory as i played this the entire week an racked up about 120 hours...that was insane

I want to say Fallout 3 and Demon Souls since they provided me with over 100 hours of gaming but I honestly have to say Batman Arkham Asylum. I'm a huge comic book fan and it took forever to get a batman game done right, which is just ridiculous.

MGS4. One of the best games I've had the pleasure of experiencing.

Maybe Dragon Age: Origins.

Bioshock or Alan Wake. I still cant believe how good the story was for the first Bioshock, its gunna be hard to top.

i only got PS360 and by far MGS4 and Demons souls are the one that is so special to me singleplayer wise.

Either Demon souls or Oblivion... Poured more than a year of play time in Oblivion and more than a month of playtime on Demon Souls and might add more playtime...Man those games were awesome...:D

That is a hard question.

It would either be Half Life 2, MGS4, or Oblivion.

Uncharted 2 comes very close.

I'd say Demon's Souls but in reality the whole thing is multiplayer since I could call for help if needed and got invaded more times than you can count... so Super Mario Galaxy 2 for sure :P.
