Your Personal 2011 Game of the Year Prediction

So, what game do you expect for you to be your game of the year come the end of 2011, and why?

Mine's Star Wars: The Old Republic. This is one MMO I might actually be willing to pay for. The focus on eliminating grinding through story, the amount of content (8 classes, said to have 200+ hours per class, including individual stories and different perspectives on certain story events), and the overall Bioware feel of this game coming from their KOTOR universe makes this a day one must buy no matter what.

And i stress, this is to be your opinion on what game will be your personal GOTY, not websites like Gamespot's GOTY.

The Last Guardian... if not LittleBigPlanet 2. Perhaps Final Fantasy Versus XIII if it's the next FFX/VII. Or maybe Uncharted 3? Holy crap what a year for the PS3 O_O scary.

My favourite game will be Diablo III for sure, but blizzard games don't really win goty :(

Its between skyward sword and gears 3 for me.

The new zelda game will be delayed. And Mass Effect 3 will earn game of the year for many gamers. A new franchise will come out that people weren't expecting to be good but it ends of being amazing.

Both Gears of War 3 & Uncharted 3 will surpass its prequels

I'm hoping for Skyward Sword, or Diablo 3 if it's released.

My personal GOTY is gonna be Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, no question.

Gamespot's GOTY will probably be Portal 2.

Hmm if Diablo III comes out than my ordered prediction would be:

1. Diablo III
2. Skyward Sword
3. Uncharted 3

Of course other games could take me by surprise no doubt. SO many that I am looking forward to so who knows, I keep an open mind, but those are my obvious top 3.

I doubt it, Uncharted 3 will have a cutthroat competition to deal with.

Diablo 3 will sweep the awards, when ever it comes out.

My game of the year will be Guild Wars 2 if it delivers even half of what they promise. If it delivers on everything... Well lets just say a few thousand hours of my life will go away like with the original.

Why, Mass Effect 3 of course! Followed by perhaps Uncharted 3, Portal 2 or Skyward Sword. We'll see.

My GOTY so far next year is Uncharted 2, with The The Last Guardian, Mass Effect 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim all tieing for 2nd place.

I'd say... Either Zelda skyward sword, The last guardian, Or uncharted 3. RAGE has a shot too. Maybe Killzone 3 for shooter of the year. Idk.

All I care for is Infamous 2 and Skyward Sword.

A good chance it will be Skyrim.

Uncharted 3 won't win as many awards as Uncharted 2, but that's what I'm going with.

To be honest I don't have a single clue. Way to many great games.

If Pikmin 3 isn't released next year then my personalGOTY is shaping up to be inFAMOUS2 and I'm goig to go out on a limb here and predict that inFAMOUS 2 will be a surprise critical hit and GOTY contender on most major sites

for me: it's gonna be like 2009 where infamous and uncharted 2 faced off and infamous won by not much.

I think it's gonna be even tighter this year since.
