Saints Row 3, without a doubt. Unless Volition screws it up catastrophically, I will be playing the ever loving s*** out of that game for years.
I would like to say Mass Effect 3, but unless Bioware ups its game, I'll really like it, but not GOTY-like it. I want them LA Noire facial animations :O!
My personal G.O.T.Y, most likely 1. Zelda SS 2. Portal 2 3. Battlefield 3 4. Batman AC 5. Assassin's Creed R. 6.Catherine These are all the Big games I've gotten/ getting for PC except Zelda and Catherine. I've also gotten/getting some DS and 3Ds games this year too.
I don't know. Gears is all I've play that came out this year. There are maybe ten other games I want to play that come/came out this year, tops. Once I play them all I'm betting it'll be Gears 3, Portal 2, Deus Ex or Arkham City. Maybe La Noire.
But Dark Souls got higher than Demons Souls, so that would be the most obvious GOTY candidate by far

It got higher because is much better, standards have changed too, the 9.5/10 today is like a 20/10 back then

Eh not really at all. The only improvement is that it's bigger as you say also in terms of content. But other than that the atmosphere isn't as engrossing, the NPCs and story far less interesting and most of all Demon's Souls wasn't about being hard but that was what it became famous for, for some reason. So now to live up to that all they do the entire game is throw hard stuff in your face. I mean I never played Demon's because it was hard. Now Dark Souls isn't that hard but because they have to prove themselves in this aspect it has resulted in cheapness instead. I mean it even says prepare to die. I never played Demon's Souls to die, what's the fun with that? If their direction had been at atmosphere and story and fairness then it would've been much better. It should've said: prepare to experience amazing atmosphere and gameplay.
