TW3 easily, next would be MH4U.

I think that's more down to the potential hits they will generate than the love/hype they have for the game. Let's be honest, regardless of how good the game is or isn't, weekly articles or videos for The Witcher 3 won't generate even half as many hits as ones for Fallout will.

I didn't expect it, because I've never really liked the franchise much at all, but I'd honestly have to say Fallout 4. I'm loving the hell out of that game and am really glad I bought it on a whim.

Pillars of Eternity or SOMA.

MGSV, followed by Bloodborne. We'll see if Old Hunters can shift my opinion.

Yoshi. I really want to play Witcher 3, but the many patches and dlc made me wait, and the ps4 version didn't impress me and that was the game i'd have gotten a ps4 for this year. I need to get a new PC for that game, i'm waiting until amd's new cpu and 14nm gpus come out.

Really there has been very little that came out this year that interests me, but next year will be big.

What's astonishing is that I had to think about it.

The Witcher 3 was an absolute shoe in until Fallout 4 came along, and whilst TW3 got the nod I am really really loving FO4.

Rise of the Tomb Raider, only just ahead of Forza 6.

Now excuse me while I go and get gold on the rest of the time attacks in TR, and get my 1000gs in it :)

Witcher 3, amazing game and best side quests since the old CRPG classics (Baldur's Gate 2, Planescape Torment). I didn't like the AC style pointless filler content or outlevelling stuff with absurd exp for main quests but it's my GOTY so far.

Haven't played FO4 yet and I really loved New Vegas but have a feeling from all that's been reported that I will hate it (graphics suck, writing sucks, yep, it's Fallout 3) I'll get it eventually and will let you all know, I know you will all lose sleep waiting for my opinion.

It's a tie between Disgaea 5 and Tales Of Zestiria.

Bloodborne, the potential for future games with that gameplay are huge. If they opened up a game like that with more weapons and less dark themes it would be amazing. I loved the gameplay but the world was depressing as ****.

I think Witcher 3 is GotY but i'm having a lot more fun with Fallout 4.

@foxhound_fox: Really should keep at it. It's an absolutely beautiful experience, which is something I'd rarely say about any video game.

It's a toss up between TW3, Bloodborne and FFXIV: Heavensward. Still havn't played ROTR so it could change.

That intro sequence was an Up-level punch in the gut.

In the big release this year I only played Bloodborne. I'm not interested in Fallout 4, nor in Witcher 3 nor in MGSV nor in Halo 5.

Released this year I played Bloodborne, Batman Arkham Knight, Xenoblade Chronicles X 3d, Zelda Majora's Mask 3d, Until Dawn, Transformers Devastation, Tearaway Unfold and Mega Man Collection, Splatoon and Capitain Toad.

Bloodborne. Although to be fair The Witcher 3 is the only other contender I have played so far. A lot people have seemed to turn on MGSV after the honeymoon phase ended.

Witcher 3 has been the clear GOTY and the most enjoyable singleplayer game of 2015 for me, Multiplayer game of the year I would have to give to Halo 5.

I haven't played Fallout 4 or Rise of the Tomb Raider yet but I think either one of these games could be my favourite game of the year.

Witcher 3 is GOTG for me (so far).

MGS5, no contest. Skipped TW3 till I get a 970 or better. After that it would have to be RE:Rev 2 because of the multiplayer.

I can't decide between Witcher 3, MGSV and Bloodborne.

Just curious,have you played Halo 5:Guardians.My vote is:Halo 5. I honestly can't judge the other games simply because I have'nt played most of the other games,so I don't know if there any good?That's simple logic.Maybe I should not have voted for that reason?

Don't care if it's not some technical marvel. It's still hands down the most fun I've had with a game all year.

And the last time I checked, you play games to have fun first and foremost. Not to just put every damn thing under a microscope and analyze it to death.
