i pick bungie. i mean they made 1 good series, halo. halo3 wasnt even that great and for some reason, ppl praise them as great developers and put them in the same category as blizzard, konami, capcom. I mean come on, they need more than halo to be considered to be an elite devs.

bungie is like the dude that sang "MAMBO NUMBER 5" They made 1 great song and ppl go crazy as the next great thing.

FYI, the Marathon series was supposedly pretty good on the MAC.

How on Earth can you include Insomniac (AKA the Resistance guys as you put it)? They aren't one of the top developers, but they put out a solidly AA-AAA game every single year.

TC, I had a strong feeling you'd pick Bungie(Not lying. I'm being serious). They pretty good if you ask me. If you haven't played their old games and so fourth, of course you'll hate em because of the hype for halo and such which made them stand out ALOT more.

I don't really know any overrated developer really. Never heard such a thing before either if you ask me.

Ok then I'll say bungie is overated. I didn't like myth. giving you a low amount of people expecting you to take on an army.. to prove I played it.. 2nd mission given a low amount of archers expected to kill one man guarded by a load of undead.. so I thing bungie is overated. PS- I liked Halo 3 because I like killing aliens/monsters kinda shooters.. Anyone knows any non-WWII shoters??

You said they made one good game and compared them to a guy who had one good song. You clearly therefore, know nothing about them and thought Halo was their first decent game. It wasnt. Marathon and Myth were both awesome.

People are fans of bungie and Valve because they make consistantly awesome games. The day they start churning out anual releases or crappy rush-jobs, call them over rated. Until then, you're just hating on the best people in gaming.

I'm not saying their games are bad. But they only have Starcraft, Warcraft and Diablo. Plus, all their Warcraft games really came from Warhammer. I'm also sick of people comparing WOW to every other MMO. WOW didn't do anything new when it came out. It copied most of its mechanics from other MMOs and dumbed them down. I really only consider Starcraft to be the really good game from them.

bungie was founded 1991 and they made myth and marathon in the mid to late 90. ok after almost 20 years, thats all they made and still be considered top?

Level 5 has Rogue Galaxy which is one and KH is a good one as well

I must admit I have not played most of Atlus games so I wouldn't know, a quick search on GS should get you results

EDIT I'm not saying they'll be as good or better than DC2 but they are good games none the less
