[QUOTE="YoshiYogurt"] What was wrong with these games exactly?? I absolutely loved Diamond/Pearl when they came out! I had amazing team(for a 13 year old.) Finished the pokedex and ended up with 400 hours in Pearl. New Super Mario Bros. felt fresh in it's design after not having a new platformer for what must have been ages for some. Wario Land shake It was just alright, a pretty fun and cool game, nothing special.YoshiYogurt

1. I personally didn't like the Pokemon designs in Diamond, such as the evolutions of Pokemon from earlier generations. I also didn't like the story that much and the series felt stale at that point. I loved Ruby and Diamond felt inferior IMO. I did like the fact that they split attacks into physical and special categories though.

2. Wario Land was a good game but it felt underwhelming compared to the amazing Wario Land 3. The Wii controls felt like a gimmick and the overall gameplay felt too slow. It also was too short. Again, not a bad game, but inferior to Wario Land 3 and even 4.

3. New Super Mario Bros. DS was the worst main Mario game I've ever played. The fact that it was so short and easy was a big letdown to me. Also I wasn't a fan of the music either.

Everything seems agreeable except for splitting the attacks into physical and special was probably the greatest thing to happen to Pokemon ever. It's BS when a physical attacker can't even be used because all their moves are water or dark etc and vice versa. A lot of Pokemon were downright unusable because of that.

Glad you can agree ;) I always did hate that water type moves were all special just because Gyarados always had a bad special attack but very high attack, even Dragonite too. It's too bad I really didn't like Diamond/Pearl as a game that much but HeartGold was great so it benefitted then.

Final Fantasy X-2 - Great battle system, but everything else was pretty bad. Mass Effect 3 - good game, but was hoping to actually spend more time with the squad we spent all of ME2 gathering. Also none of my choices really mattered in the end. Twisted Metal(PS3) - Decent game, but I got bored with it. I've spent more time playing Black on my PS3(since it came with the code for that game).

Resistance 3 and Killzone 3 are the only two I played where I actually felt disappointed. There are other games where I felt the sequel wasn't as good as previous iteration but none to the level of the aforementioned games.

I actually felt Resistance 2 was the lesser game out of the 3.

3. Pokemon Sapphire/Ruby: I was expecting something that I felt like playing multiple times like I did the last games. This one felt hackneyed and lacking in material compared to the others mainly because it came off of G/S which had one great world and one nostalgic one. Easily one of my least favorite in the series. Gen 4 was just as bad but it came off of another not so great one so it wasn't as much of a disappointment.

Pokemon Diamond was my first pokemon game, so it's one of my fav pokemon games. I bet everyone was sick of seeing Zubat.. Zubat was new to me! ^^ lol
