Zelda alone gives the Switch a better launch lineup than PS4 or XB1

@Fairmonkey: as a manticore I have had most but not all consoles since pong. However I have only personally had one Nintendo console that I owned but it was for my son. I played the games he wanted for it. Before that my sister had a Super Nintendo when I lived at home and we played Donkey Kong, Mario and Duck Hunt.

But having grown up with owning pong, commodores, trs-80s, ataris, intellivisions,coleco visions, apple iics, segas, all the PlayStations, xboxes, windows PCs that I have been bleeding games. I'm not concerned that I missed one of the bigger franchises.

I might get my first taste if I get a switch though. I'm holding back for awhile for reviews on the console.

I forgot how dismal the PS4 launch library was. That's embarrassing considering how popular the PS4 was.

If we were stuck in 2013 then yes the Switch would have had a better line up. That's not the case, and now both systems have a TON of great games the Switch has to go up against.

@princeofshapeir: Only problem is Zelda isn't exclusive. You will be able to play it on the Wii U and that's where most people will probably buy it. After Zelda, what do you have left. Super Mario Odyssey and XenoBlade 2 aren't launch titles.

yeah, i didn't buy a PS4 until a few months before bloodborne for that reason.

the switch version is going to outsell the wii u version because there is a lot of hype behind the switch.
