Zelda Wii U: Massive Overworld, Political Story, Customizable Main Character

Sounds like it might be a 3DS game. It's too early to get a console zelda, but just about the right time for a new Zelda game.

You can select what race you want to play; each race has its own playable campaign.

Also apparently, the game world will be directly influenced by what you do, because every single one of your actions will have a tangible impact. So if you stop the Death Mountain from erupting, for example, there will be no heat, and the Zoras' cold will allow a freeze to settle over the world.

These two points make me think it's fake.

If all this is true then this would a different Zelda experience for sure. I hope we see some Zelda Wii U news at E3.

Zelda is pretty weak no matter how they do it, I just don't have as much fun anymore with the franchise.

Cool story though if it turns out to be real.

The formulaic way that you play a zelda game was getting old but this is too much. I hope it's not true because nintendo needs to take baby step to change such a beloved franchise or they will risk losing long time fans. (ie Capcom and resident evil)

If that is the next Zelda game, I would cry, and then proceed to not buy it.

Keep your Bethesda trash out of my Zelda.

For it's time, OoT's world felt massive.

Sure, games like Daggerfall were still bigger but TES was not on consoles yet back then.

That game is as complex as my pencil.

Its a good game, but its no way in hell deep or complex story wise. Now if they had an origin story for the Majora's Mask, then we would be going places.

The story never had priority over gameplay in Zelda games and some of us like it that way.

If I wanted tons of text, I'd play some old D&D PC RPG...
