Hahahaha, Dragon Age just owned Uncharted 2 right there. Nice nod. Still not a fan of Yantzee, though. Way too overly negative, although his points are valid. He could be a bit nicer about it all. :P But that's not his thing. *yawn*
Yea, well, proves that gameplay wins over graphics. Uncharted 2 was amazing, but at the end of the day, I think DAO may get my GOTY. Still have to play MW2 and AC2 though, so Ill reserve judgement.Hahahaha, Dragon Age just owned Uncharted 2 right there. Nice nod. Still not a fan of Yantzee, though. EDIT: You know what, strike that, because so many games have surprised me this year, and I dont want to get ahead of myself.
What's sad about this is he brings up the race card again... This time you're killing "non-American whites." Talk about grabbing for straws. You'd think he'd catch on that when your opponents include someone from every racial demographic, it's probably not reasonable to say it's racist.... I'm just really tired of his vids, they've become a string of diatribes.BrownesqueLol it's not supposed to be serious, he takes valid gripes and then inflates them 100x and expresses this with varying degrees of profanity, it's just funny more than anything.
You know what? As much as I loved every minute the first time through, I also have no desire to go back to it. The multiplayer was fun for awhile, but waiting forever to find a new game after every match and having to unload a full clip just to drop someone burnt me out pretty fast. A superb game with production value second to none, but "popcorn game" about sums it up for me as well. It was great while it lasted, but it is nothing I want to keep going back to. Just being honest.
Ill probably play it on crushing and maybe some more MP, but if I want to do MP, ill probably head towards MW2 co-op or comp modes. Uncharted 2 was a great game though. Its not a game that I could play for months though. You know what? As much as I loved every minute the first time through, I also have no desire to go back to it. i like to think of his reviews as to what we'll all be thinking months from now. you know, once the hype wears offVideoGameGuyJust like his Halo 3 review and his portal review. We all know which game is still talked about endlessly here. Yahtzees a funny guy though. I find it even funnier when people try and use his reviews to say "oh here's the truth".
Played about 3 hrs of it and I'm not a fan of this style of game, it was fairly enjoyable. No real desire to go back. As he said pretty game tho.
i know lots of stupid british people (as i am one :P)He has a British accent, so he must be smart.

i didnt find that one funny and i also disagree with alot of his points
[QUOTE="Jandurin"]nice nod to Dragon Age.Ontainlooking forward to that review :)
Remember his review of Mass Effect? I'm sure he's going to equally looooooooooooove the character conversations of DAO :lol:
@ Trey: Yahtzee is Aussie, just FYI :)

he sure sounds aussie (sarcasm) he was born in england. What Yahtzee's review basically said:
It is "run-of-the-mill," doesn't try to do anything "new," looks good and is very cinematic, and is not "original" in any sense of the word. He said it wasn't "bad" but didn't really imply that it was "great" either. He basically summed it up as a "popcorn movie." Like Transformers, its all action and visuals, and not much substance.

[QUOTE="Adrian_Cloud"]Once again, a very classy review. I don't why he didn't go into the multiplayer portion though. Ace6301Yahtzee isn't a big multiplayer fan. He prefers singleplayer games. :| He prefers single player games, Good heavens MAG is in for a serious beat down.

You are suggesting that more 13 year olds talking about Halo 3 means it's a better game than Portal? We know that he has the opinions of a hardcore and old-school cynical gamer with discerning tastes, why would he give Halo 3 a good review?
Hilarius...
And please stop taking Yhatzees word and thinking its true. His points are valid, they only problem is that the inflates the problems x1000 and deflates the good parts x1000 :D
So in the end its just like looking at a gorgeus girl, but multiplying the fact that she has some nail polish 1 mm off of her nail and saying she is ugly cuz of it.
lol I actually agree in some respects but still loved the game even though I haven't touched it since I beat it

Woosh. The sound of my point rushing over your head. The man I quoted said that this would be the review we all agree with after the hype wore off. Yahtzee gave Halo 3 a scathing review and thinks of portal as part of his dream team of amazing games. Now which game is talked about constantly here? It doesn't involve cake. Im saying that Yahtzee's reviews rarely have any weight in the long term and in a few months people will still think of Uncharted 2 as a game that has yet to get a review below 90 and not the game that Yahtzee thought wasn't bad but wasn't great. For the record I agree with Yahtzee that Portal (Orange box in general)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Halo 3.Compelling, Narrative, Cinematic all the things that seems to come out of the GameSpot review generator.

Its not a game that I could play for months though. I think the multiplayer is going to be more of a cult following then anything. Out of about my 10 friends that have the game, only 3 of us consistantly still play the multiplayer. I personally love it and plan on having it be my multiplayer game of the year while im still playing singleplayer games. You know what? As much as I loved every minute the first time through, I also have no desire to go back to it. On the topic of the video it was funny, i do get confused sometimes as to if he is being serious or not because it seems like some people actually take his videos as creditable reviews.
I agree with the review.......the game is overrated. It look good but nothing else. The game is just copy from other good games....Gears of War,Prince of Persia,Tomb Raider and Metal Gear. The gameplay is boring and repeated. No replay value.I have finish the game but after that it get boring.U2 it is a game that you would never go back to play again.
