This is the place to discuss music. So have at it.
I shall start with this.
It has to be the most metalist metal that ever metaled.

I was thinking about making a Rock/Metal thread. :P
My friend has always said that Power Ranger had very heavy music. Like Mega Man which had 8 bit metal music.
That's very broad. Madonna to Elton John to Led Zeppelin to Rush to In Flames to Emperor to...
Do you mean like the mainstream stuff?
Well, I've listened to some of the songs Metallica had to offer and I must say they were quite good. After... about 4 years of saying I dont like heavy metal I'm starting to like it a little bit. :PRacer_XLRI don't mind heavy metal, but it's not my favorite kind of music. Metallica is alright, they are one of the few I'll listen to sometimes.
Yes very broad. One of my fav bands is R.E.M.That's very broad. Madonna to Elton John to Led Zeppelin to Rush to In Flames to Emperor to...

Some metalheads would feel insulted that you call Metallica metal.
Unless you are talking about the music before the Black Album.
You must know the Black Album. It has some of their most popular songs.

When I was in 8th grade (about 4 years ago now) I was against music that swore, hated metal, even *Gasp!* System of a Down (they're among my top bands). Now I listen to SOAD, Nirvana, Metallica, Pantera, ect. all the time. It's funny how things change.
[QUOTE="lancelot200"] That's very broad. Marksman2200Yes very broad. One of my fav bands is R.E.M. I've never listen to much R.E.M. I just know that one song. Losing my Religion Maybe I know more but, I just don't remember.
That was pretty badass. This is the place to discuss music. So have at it.

Yeah, older Metallica was awesome. But if you want to discuss metal then listen to some of these bands: Mastodon, Electric Wizard, 3 Inches Of Blood, Pig Destroyer, The Sword, and Children Of Bodom. Some metalheads would feel insulted that you call Metallica metal.

Ah, the Wu Tang Clan. I like them, I haven't listened to much of there songs nowadays. In fact, I dont remember any of there songs. :?Racer_XLROh wow, you should change that my friend.
I listen to almost anything except rap and hip hop. My favorite band is Iron Maiden. I was at one of their concerts almost 3 weeks ago. Absolutely phenominaldukebd699Maiden is alright. I bet that was a cool concert.
Yeah, I don't like to listen to alot of mainstream rap nowadays. Most of it is mindless dribble.

That's always an accomplishment when you have the complete discography of a band.lancelot200
I'm doing that with Iron Maiden. Live and all. My guitar teacher's dad actually has a record from the stuido that Iron Maiden first recorded at. If I could get that somehow it would be amazing. Only problem is it's worth thousands of dollars. He stole it tough so I might not have to pay full. He was nice enough to let me listen to it tough. There's a few songs they haven't released yet then some of their stuff from the late 80's were originally on it.
Just started listening to The Haunted recently because I had no idea there were ex members of At the Gates in that band. Really diggin their stuff right now._Doomsayer_
I never heard of them until now. But I do like At the Gates so I'll have to check them out.

Wow, this thread works! :D Some of their songs have more melody than At the Gates, but they're still pretty good.[QUOTE="lancelot200"]That's always an accomplishment when you have the complete discography of a band.dukebd699
