I like Rammstein in small doses. I own the album "Mutter". I bought just for Fever Frei because it played in the movie "XXX". The title song is the best on that album IMO.

I can agree with you about the Sex Pistols but saying that all punk music sucks?.....Joy Division, Mission Of Burma, New Model Army, Big Black, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Husker Du, Television, X, Stiff Little Fingers, among others that I can't think of right now are all great punk bands.

That may be what some of the more well known punk bands are known for (i.e. Ramones, Sex Pistols, Negative Approach) but that doesn't define the whole genre.....there are a lot of bands that give people a bad impression of punk music.
Does anyone listen to The Duskfall? I was thinking of picking up Lifetime Supply of Guild this week but I've only heard a couple songs from it. From what I heard it sounds good.
I find that buying a CD that you don't really know the band is fun. It happen to me when I bought Opeth, Dream Theatre and Dio. The cds were cheap. I took me a bit to really appreciated them but they are awesome as you know.

It seems like even if I don't like a cd, after a few listens you can really start to appreciate what the artist was trying to accomplish.
