3, because unlike anyone else here, I bothered to play all 5 generations thoroughly, and my god 3 was boring compared to the other 4. Cloud_765
I played the first four generations thoroughly. Five didn't capture my interest enough for me to bother with it. Â
I would also have to say that three was better than four. I continued to play the first three generations after beating them, but I barely touched four after I finished beating it.Â
[QUOTE="sonic__323"]Generation 5, most of the Pokemon are just... terrible.Cloud_765No more terrible than anything released in the Hoenn generation. Well I somewhat agree, there were some Pokemon from the 3rd generation that were rather useless but part of it carried on in the newer generations.
What games refer to which generation.lancelot200Huh? We're talking about Pokemon games here, and it has 5 different generations so far, 5th being the worst, at least in the majority of opinions here. Generation 1 = 151 Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow. Generation 2 = 251 Pokemon Silver/Gold/Crystal. Generation 3 = 386 Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. + Fire Red/Leaf Green. Generation 4 = 493 Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. + Heart Gold/Soul Silver. Generation 5 = 649 Pokemon Black/White.
What is a typical pokemon for each generation? horgen123You mean a specific Pokemon Mascot for a specific Generation? I'd say whatever the last (or last 2-3 ) pokemon for each generation is. 1 = Mew/Mewtwo. 2. = Lugia/Ho-oh/Celebi. 3. = Deoxys. 4. Arceus. 5. Genesect.

I thought everyone loved Pokemon Black/White.
I think that Pokemon Ruby was pretty crappy. It only had one map.
Is there an easy way to see all the pokemon from each different generation?MikeLiretteList of all Pokemon from each of the 5 Generations is provided with this Link
I think 4th gen was worst. Nothing interesting to be seen in Sinnoh...I practically have a weak memory of that season.I thought everyone loved Pokemon Black/White.

lancelot200
It's easy for me. I hated every single new pokemon in the 5th generation.Â
I hated most of the new pokemon in the 4th generation but there are a few I like.Â
I hated some of the pokemon in the 3rd generation.
I hated the baby pokemon in the 2nd generation but I like everything else.
I like all of the 151 original pokemon. Yes, that includes Magikarp. Just because I find the mythological reference that they use for Magikarp and Gyarados interesting.Â
[QUOTE="koolkat14"]I prefer Articuno myself, particularly because that's the first legendary Pokemon I've caught.silentexistenceIf I'm not mistaken Zapdos was my first... Articuno is troublesome to get to.Really? Because if I remember correctly, I can't seem to find Zapdos. :?
[QUOTE="koolkat14"]Really? Garchomp...Spiritomb..Vespiqueen...Electivire...Frosslass and maybe Darkrai, and that's it from the ones I remember.Â
My favorite one was always Dragonite from first gen =3Â
In Soul Silver, I managed to catch the Legendary Pokemon Mewtwo with a Dusk Ball on only the second try, even more evidence I'm like him, we agree very much so and I didn't struggle at all trying to catch him, Ho-oh is also another favorite of mine, took me about 5-7 tries to get him from what I can remember. Just about all of the other legendaries though I seem to usually have a hard time catching, and takes well over ten-twenty tries. Even with Dusk Balls. At night or in caves. Lugia I used my Master Ball on. :PToph_Girl250I usually catch Mewtwo with a regular pokeball, works best for me.
